and here's my "fav" picture of my shoes. they are a bit unstable when not on foot, but here it seems like they damaged

Couldnt agree more.... i've made many suggestions on how they should change this, it is very unfair to both the seller and other buyers.... they promised they will be changing this policy , they are just taking a long time to do it.
TRR allows a 20 minute hold and flash sale sites like Gilt allow 10-20 min holds. I don't understand why they wouldn't use one of those options. Serious buyers still have time to check out without the item being sold out from under them, but if they are not committed to buy, other people have a chance. What suggestions have you made?

yeah, here's the thing, they look damaged so people aren't going to want to pay as much. Even if it cost them more for better photography, they could recoup that in selling at higher prices and getting more items in the door to consign because consignors will trust them more.

oh cool! i've been asking them to improve titles and descriptions, havent seen them put style names on any of my items yet but... good to hear! also their app is looking better and better all the time
They are now providing more information on newly listed items, but I agree that it does not seem like they are going back to edit items previously listed. It is a shame because for example, I think my Chanel slingbacks with box and dustbags would sell much better with that name vs just "Chanel Flats", or Chanel lambskin boy with recent serial number, box, auth card, dustbag instead of just "Chanel shoulder bag" not listing any accessories, "Hermes Olga Belt" with box and dustbag vs just "Hermes belt" etc etc etc.

You should ask them to update your items. They incorrectly listed the MSRP on several of my items too low, and I asked them to update the listings after sending links to show actual MSRP, and they did (though it did take several days and a follow up to get done).
Is yours the boy bag constantly stuck in someone's cart?

Thanks, that's a great idea.
Yes, it's in someone's cart 100% of the time unfortunately. They are going to auto-release it from a cart for a second today (hopefully) so that I can decrease the price and hopefully someone will actually buy instead of just holding on to it forever...

You have it listed at a fair price. If the item was actually available to purchase instead of stuck in someone's cart you might be able to sell it at that price without having to lower it.

so it's been 6 days since I messaged them about that return. First I got this answer:
We’d like to start off by apologizing for the delays we’ve had recently in getting back to you. We're in the process of recovering from a *very* busy holiday season, and we’ve had issues with our new customer response system that has caused further hold ups. It really pains us that some customer emails have been waiting much longer than usual. We’ve also seen that many of these no longer need help (orders or returns in question have been received, etc.).
As a result, we’re going to mark this ticket as solved, but feel free to reach out to us if you still need help.

And then when I answered that my problem is NOT solved, they promised to deal with it and come back to me asap, and nothing since then. so pathetic:(

Ladies, I’m happy to report that after 3 agonizing weeks since I found out my items were lost/stolen/misplaced, they (Ashley/Claire) finally made it right. I was offered a pay out for all 5 missing items. I felt the prices they offered for the items were fair (some more than what I would price it at and others a little less). I cashed out this morning to PayPal and now waiting for it to show up in my bank. I am so relieved this whole ordeal is over! Part of me was starting to accept that I might not get a resolution just so I could move on. Besides you guys, I didn’t even tell anyone about this situation. I actually felt really embarrassed about it as if I got duped. Anyway, thanks for reading my previous posts and your words of encouragement. Love tPF members! [emoji173]️
