I did notice one improvement so far - they started to name my shoes by the style's names, not just brand and category. I suggested them to do so, and I'm sure not only me
oh cool! i've been asking them to improve titles and descriptions, havent seen them put style names on any of my items yet but... good to hear! also their app is looking better and better all the time

I have also been dealing with Claire and she has been receptive to all my feedback so far. I haven't had anything LUXE returned to me, but I have complained about the excessive 24 hour cart holds that some people seem to be abusing on some of my items. I also pointed out that they need to do a better job arranging/staging some of the LUXE items for sale--some of the bags and shoes (not mine, but just peruse through the listings) look really terrible, all squashed with straps hanging out all over--they should be stuffed with tissue or held up with clear plastic supports if need be. If you compare to how the Real Real displays items it is night and day. I am lucky that I have not had any of my items lost. There are definitely pros and cons to dealing with them. So far I am happy that several of my items I had on ebay, etc forever have sold quickly at a 100% payout to me. Also they are the only consignment site I am aware of that gives you full control over your pricing. But if there is an issue it does take several days often for someone to get back to you, and yes they are still backed up and behind schedule on processing.

i feel that not every person involved with luxe is aware of all the care that is needed

true. it's like my housemaid whom I mentioned above:biggrin: she keeps putting light patent shoes together with dark ones, I told her million times that patent can absorb darker color and there will be spots that are not removable, but in a month or 2 she starts to do the same. and Thredup does it btw - put diff patent shoes together in one box. they just don't think of the consequences and potential damage it may cause. they just don't know it, they are not skilled enough to treat expensive items.

ITA re: the 24 hr cart issue! have had a few of my items on hold pretty much for the full 85 days. they are trying to figure out the best thing to do about this, lots of clients have complained about this issue she said, and they are working on it.

yes my fave things about luxe are: i think their photography is gorgeous, i've had some of my items returned from real, sent to luxe, rephoto'd much more beautifully imo, sold faster and for more $ (and withOUT those insane markdowns that real does!) but agree, staging needs improvement on some items, and they also need to have more photos for some items. Love having control over price. and LOVE that i dont have to deal w/ returns!! they absorb it, like tradesy does, and i never hear a thing about it! less stress for me.

is that your item? if so you should complaint. i posted some more examples below. they are not my items, but I was thinking of sending some valentino in to them but don't want to now that I see how the others are displayed. That is garage sale level care, not luxury level care of them items.

Yes, absolutely love on the returns! I have also sent plenty to TRR and that is always my biggest disappointment with them, when something gets returned and I have to wait for it to sell again.

I cannot understand how from a business perspective they are allowing people to hold up their inventory with the 24 hours hold, on repeat. When you go to the luxury section and click show items in other people's carts, the number of items more than doubles. So they are allowing people who are not committed to purchase to keep items away from other people who may be able to purchase right away! Someone's poor chanel boy bag is repeatedly being held hostage this way.

Couldnt agree more.... i've made many suggestions on how they should change this, it is very unfair to both the seller and other buyers.... they promised they will be changing this policy , they are just taking a long time to do it.
