I asked my SA to place a order of a speedy 30 for me to try on. I told her I have no preference on print to try on since they are the same size. My heart is set on classic monogram. But sometime I wonder if I should accept the Ebene if I do like the size?

I first purchased monogram in 2019. I AppleGuarded the vachetta but do not use it often due to Florida rain. A year later, I purchased a DE and realized I should have bought it first given its higher usage. I then recognized I would have still wanted the monogram version

I totally agree with you… Ebene you will have a chance to really know if you love the size and style, 100% worry free. And the red interior is very charming

Damier is the Best.. it’s my most used bag bc it’s worry free..

My first Speedy is B35 in DE that Im so happy that I got it since it was use as diaper bag/ work bag and all you name it. Almost 9 years later , Im so surprised that it still holds!
I added mono 25 last month on the collection .. and be honest with u, was so paranoid if there is small tini drop of snow/ rain on the vachetta coz it will stain if I dont wipe them right away.

All in all , both are georgous bags, love both of them So depends on your usage, like others said, DE is more “ carefree” than the mono

So I had a Speedy B 25 shipped from a store to my house which was received yesterday and I finally had a chance to look it over. Now I know some dings and such are to be expected, but exactly how much is considered normal?
The lock that comes with the speedy was already attached to the zipper pull and I just noticed it’s extremely stretched up already. Also, the strips of the leather on the sides of the bag are already creased in some spots, but I haven’t even used it yet.
For those of you who own a Speedy does this happen normally over time? Or does your bag still look pretty good? The store is over an hour from my house and Speedys have been hard to come by, I don’t really want to return it. However, if this is a sign my bag will look older faster I’ll go through all the effort to find a new one.

The first time I looked at DE, the SA attempted to sell me one with ripples on the sides, advising it’s normality. I thought my monogram of a year prior did not and I refused it. Sometime later, I sent an online order to the store for pickup and the leather was smooth as it should be. My store is 40 min and have only received orders at home for a scarf and key pouches. The handbag is a sizable spend and warrants the drive.

I would not have ship to my house. Drive and inspect the bag! It worth the drive. Only slgs and accessories should be shipped to home address as those don’t really warrant the worth of drive.

i am in the same boat, I have to drive an hour to come to LV. It worth the drive to try out things, and buy bags, ready to wear.

I’ve had bags shipped before and it’s usually not a problem. This would be the first time. I got into a fairly big accident on a major highway a few months ago and I haven’t gotten completely over it yet which is why I was even debating if it was worth the drive. But yea, my next day off definitely it’s definitely going back.

I understand, I would be afraid of driving too if I gotten in an accident.
