I am lusting for the Speedy 25 bandoliere in black empreinte. I really love my luxury bags to have feet on the bottom to protect the bottom of the bag from wear and dirt. Although the Speedy 25 empreinte bag used to have feet, the newer model does not. Does anyone have a clue as to why LV took the feet off the Speedy 25? At the price of an empreinte bag, I feel that customers should get the best quality, which includes the beautiful LV feet. BTW - my new Artsy bag in papyrus empreinte, which has far less structure than the Speedy has feet.

I think it’s just a design choice. There is a lot less hardware on the newer version of the Speedy Empreinte. Some prefer the older version, but I prefer the new one. I find it less gaudy, more refined. Across all collections, the vast majority of Speedy bags do not feature feet.

If you really want feet, it would be easy to pick up the older version of the Speedy Empreinte on the preloved market.

Joining the club with my 25b. Thanks to reading this forum I was able to get her wrinkles out by stuffing her with tshirts for a couple of days and taking her out on my deck sunbathing occasionally to warm up the canvas. Worked like a charm!

Yeah I was amazed the couple of days in the sun worked magic on the patina. I love it.
I got the bag at my local St Louis store. Didn’t even know it was a hard to get!

Hi everyone. Just got this speedy b 30. Should I be concerned at the double stitching at the lower right side of each leather piece? The stitching goes from single to double on all four bases. Also, one of them is not centered. See pics below and let me know. Thank you!

I did't notice this right away, but the handles are slightly wrinkled on the inside. Is this normal for a DE Speedy? This is not the case on my regular Speedy 30 in DA. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I didn't read the second part. My speedy does have the double stitching but they do all appear to be centered.

My handles are slightly wrinkled too but they say that's normal.

There are two SAs I have worked with.
Ada is the first SA I worked with - I bought a key holder from her. She was super sweet. The thing is - she doesn't seem to be in the store much.
The SA I bought my speedy from is Michelle. She was very nice and helpful - I think I tried on more than 10 different bags with her.
