How much did they quote you? I'm thinking of replacing my vachetta but won't be near a store for a few months.

I found in the repair list section someone saying it was ~$500

I was quoted $1000 in Canadian dollars which includes all the leather and piping as well as replacing the zipper. So in USD I guess this is around $700. The zipper alone was quoted to be $225 Canadian so probably the vachetta alone works out to be about $600-650 in USD. Hope that helps!

My imperfect but yet perfect vintage speedy 35. This was my mother’s diaper bag for me and now I’m using it for my little ones. It’s 45 years old!
One day I’ll add another speedy that I can hand down to my daughters too.

I am lusting for the Speedy 25 bandoliere in black empreinte. I really love my luxury bags to have feet on the bottom to protect the bottom of the bag from wear and dirt. Although the Speedy 25 empreinte bag used to have feet, the newer model does not. Does anyone have a clue as to why LV took the feet off the Speedy 25? At the price of an empreinte bag, I feel that customers should get the best quality, which includes the beautiful LV feet. BTW - my new Artsy bag in papyrus empreinte, which has far less structure than the Speedy has feet.
