Newbie here. I have the Iena MM in the Monogram print and I’ve had many quality issues since getting this bag at the start of last summer. Has anyone experienced defects especially on the handles? I tried to sort it out with LV but the best they could offer was to replace the straps.

I did! The glazing just disintegrated and the leather was actually fraying! I took it back to my SA. He apologized profusely. I purchased the bag in 2016 and it was in my "rotation" and used seasonally. LV replaced the straps only. It took about four weeks, but on the bright side it looks brand new (except for the tabs, but that doesn't bother me).

My daugher got a Poopsie Puitton for Christmas, as she is slime obsessed! I thought the pic of us together with our LV's was cute! LOL

I have the same issues especially with the fraying and the end tabs of the straps lifting. I had to use white glue to reglue them. I understand wear and tear is inevitable but I find this quality unacceptable. I was watching lvcoffeelver on YouTube and the fraying was also a major problem for her. I didn’t want straps replaced on a bag that had been used less than a year. I’m glad it worked out for you though.

Dear all, I just got my Iena Damier Ebene on my birthday from Paris Champ Elysee. :flowers: I found it quite heavy for me even I only put my Jeanne wallet/key cles/some cosmetics without cosmetics pouch. I am thinking about if it is just too big for me. I am totally fine with my speedy b 25 even I packed my speedy. I did some research that speedy b 25 weight around 430 to 480g. I think I am able to carry a bag around this weight. (Iena PM is around 480g) I am thinking about to do the exchange for Iena PM. (even though I love the mm size) But back pain hurts and gives me hesitation when I am going out with this beauty. Can anyone tell me what is the exact weight of Iena MM? Thanks a lot:confused1:

I just weighed mine on my mail scale and it came in at 610 grams

Thank you for your help:angel::flowers: It actually weighs only 130 grams more than PM and speedy b 25. But it is weird that I feel quite heavy with my MM. I read all of the comments in this Iena club and Iena MM got good commands on its weight. I wonder if the size effects how I feel on my shoulder. Still don't know if I should exchange it to PM.. :doh:

I actually don't carry much. I chose MM as I thought I could easily reach things in and out. Especially for my Jeanna wallet without scratching the edge with the zip. Plus I want my daily bag to be a little bit roomier just in case I can put some stuff when I do shopping. :confused1:
