I guess we’re all neighbors! I’m in Helotes and so glad to hear about the new store. Haven’t purchased anything LV since moving here because I’ve been ignored going to the La Cantera Neiman Marcus even though I’m already carrying an LV bag. I’m not in the PM club, but love to see what everyone says about it because I do love it.
Must be a Texas thing bc I dealt with the *****iest of sales associates at the Austin Domain location a few years ago and swore off buying anything from that store again. We drove to San Antonio one time to get my mil a de totally for Christmas another year before it got discontinued.

Hi guys, I just got my pochette metis today and When im checking the bag I noticed about the zipper doesn’t reach the end. Is that considered normal?View attachment 4623942 View attachment 4623943

My zip goes all the way to the end and was MIF with a date code of 40th week 2019

I do think they should go to the end and you shouldn’t have such a gap. You could always ask when you go next into store.
However I don’t your zip not reaching the end affects the functionality of the bag and I think if it was mine I would not worry and just use it .
Hope the pictures help

I can’t seem to get over the crooked lv logo line on my brand new pochette mentis. It seems to be leaning to the right, are my eyes playing tricks on me? I got this directly from the website. Could it be a fake that was returned?

I can see what you mean on the top reverse monogram . If you hadn’t pointed it out I wouldn’t have noticed it .
No it’s not a fake . All the bags are hand made so it’s just how the canvas has been cut .

I wouldn’t see it on my own. In my experience online orders usually comes with “defects” of some kinds. I returned 3 PM reverse mono all online orders because of the crooked locked, glazing on canvas, or visible misaligned. I gave up at this point on PM reverse. When I was picking up my PSM just randomly asked if they have PM reverse in the store. That time they did and it was perfect!! That is my theory now, online orders are not as perfect as bags in LV boutiques.

My husband recently purchased this for me. He doesn't see anything wrong with it. He will be so hurt (and probably a little furious) if I try to return it. I'm not happy with it. I really didn't even want one of these. I would have rather had an Artsy or a Speedy B. I guess I'll just have to suck it up and use it anyway. But I won't enjoy it because I'm OCD and the misalignment is going to drive me crazy. BTW...I have lots of other handbags that I truly love and that look perfect to my eyes. I know...people in the world are truly suffering and I'm upset over a purse. :sad:IMG_1496.jpeg

Do you think he’d be okay if you exchanged it for another one that isn’t misaligned? I do agree with you this one is pretty noticeable on the flap esp the bottom edges. But it is a lovely gesture for him to get you this as I’ve love is my husband gifted me one hope you find a solution that makes you feel better about it as it’s a lovely purse

I don't know. He's pretty touchy about gifts. Many years ago he got me a couple of gifts that I thought were too expensive and I asked him to return them and he got very upset. He thinks I'm "too picky" sometimes, and as I said...he doesn't see anything wrong with it! I'm sure he had to jump through hoops to even get this one, since they are so hard to get right now.

Sorry I seem to be having issues today using posts ☹️ I do hope you find a solution that works for you both... good luck
I just looked on the website and the Pochette Metis was "place in cart" so I ordered another one and put it on my personal credit card. I'll see how this one looks and hopefully it will look better than the one he got me and I'll return whichever one I decide I don't want. I haven't used it at all yet, so I think it's ok to return if I decide the one he got me isn't the one I want, right?

Congrats. Fingers crossed the one you just ordered is better aligned. I think your plan sounds like a good one (and something I might do myself )

I have personally experienced how LV is meticulous with returns. Before accepting them, they thoroughly inspect the item physically and using technology - there is a small device connected to the iPad that scans the entire bag in and out. There is no way fakes could enter their store.
