Hi guys. Any tips on securing a pochette metis in reverse? Do you think that it will be discontinued?My most favorite purchase yet! I want a black one now. You will love it and it holds its value so well if you ever decide to sell it

I heard an SA say that it was going to be produced for a limited time only. I'm not sure if this has changed due to the popularity of the bag. As you are in the US 'stalking' the LV website may be the fastest option for you to get your hands on one.
Thx you all for the advice and insights yesterday when I asked. I have decided to return my emp PM tomorrow. I will try for exchange tomorrow and if I can't find a suitable one, then I figure it's not meant to be and just get a refund. Emp once smoothed out cannot be repaired like glazing and I just can't get past spending over $3k on a bag that's missing part of the design on one side. I need to be 100% satisfied.
I would add LVs and flowers symmetry and alignment, especially the flower behind the leather tab on the front flap above the lock closure) and flowers all around the edges of the canvas), on Mono and Reverse models this is very very visible.
I have one Reverse ready for a return and I am debating whether I should enclose with the receipt also a list of defects or not, haha! But I wanna be refunded.
I totally understand. I am giving up with Reverse. In 2 months I ordered 7 of them, all of them defective...That is...insane.

Thxs. Yes this is huge for canvas. I wasn't sure if emp is expected to be lined up. My new one def wasn't lined up and the few I have seen in emp weren't lined up. It would bother me more on canvas though as it's extremely noticeable.
That's crazy! LV needs to stop churning out more product and focus on fixing the issues first. Wish me luck tomorrow- they have 3 in stock. If I don't find it tomorrow I will go one last time to two other stores on Sat to see 4 more. After that, if I can't find it in acceptable condition I think I'm done. My hubby thinks I am crazy... i'm starting to believe him. Lol.
Interesting to see initials hot stamped on a handle like this. Yesterday my attention was drawn to a young lady with a hobo style canvas bag with initials hot stamped on the bag. The bag resembled the shape of an Artsy but the strap was flat, not rounded, (not sure if any hobo bags have a wide flat vachetta strap). When I looked at the strap itself, it didn't look anything like vachetta leather. Not that I care one way or the other, her money and her bag - but I thought the bag may have been a fake. After she applied a good amount of hand lotion to her hands and then picked up her bag by the handle
I was convinced that it was.It would seem difficult for a SA to hot stamp this handle on the hot stamping machine. I could be wrong, but it would seem challenging to handle and ensure proper alignment not to mention risky (damaging the bag if the handle/stamping slips)

The real problem is even you found the prefect one and start using for a while then other defects start to show... I thought I found a prefect one but then I used it for 3 weeks, lining in the external pocket got loose( stitches undone), glazing cracked on both side of the flap due to shoulder straps keeps rubbing side of the flap(bad design), loose second loops, sticky lock, glazing on the thickest part started to separate just to name a few... it just went downhill from there! Luckily I read this forum knowing more problems I could be facing later, and decided to save myself from all the headaches, I went with a problem free Turenne instead as soon as possible!!
Did you get a replacement for a turenne? Were lv okay? I'm nervous to use mine now. Wonder if I should have just gotten a different one .
IMO, if you are looking for absolute perfection you won't find it on this bag. I think Vuitton is cutting multiple layers of canvas at one time and that is throwing things off. If you look on their website on the Mono version, they one shown isn't lined up perfectly. They are probably cutting multiple layers for all their bags, but it is really showing on this one.
Here are photos of mine, you can see on each side, it is off by a little. When full and closed, the top and bottom match, but side to side--not exact. I bought mine pre-loved, so I saw photos of the exact bag I was getting. I then had it authenticated.
