LV is (or was) known for their precise work, symmetry, durability of bags...that is what we are paying for. But no, I am paying for "LVs" spread all around the canvas, that is unforunately the reality now. We pay for the brand, but the quality disappeared.
My last PM Reverse order has these defects:
- melted corners
- black stain on a canvas (left corner), please check the photos
I am even not dreaming about perfect symmetry here...
This is too much. Quality control person is for sure on a vacation (like 6 months already...) They should hire us, but they would not make so much money...we would be fired in weeks, haha!

Returned my noir to the store today. Was looking for an exchange. The one they had in stock the flap lock piece was crooked so it didn't line up with the lock. Of course it went right back on the shelf waiting for some unsuspecting buyer. Sigh.
I picked up my Pochette Metis Reverse yesterday! 
The bag was made this year week 19.
It would probably not have passed the thorough quality control from many here, but for me it is perfect
Not perfectly aligned when empty but I do think the alignment will improve a lot when filled (if you look at the symbols near the lock you can see that they are very well aligned).
Lock is definitely not centered, but it is straight which is more important for me.
The backside looks very good in my opinion

mine is exactly same like yours, the square lock not centered, a bit on the right next to the upper petal, but its straight. If i may ask where did you got your bag from ?I picked up my Pochette Metis Reverse yesterday!

I got mine from the Netherlands
Mine is bought in Sweden, Made in France. I guess your is also MIF?
For me it is more important with a straight lock than fully centered, if you see what I mean? I am mostly concerned about function and wear and tear. The misalignment is so minor that you only see it if you really look for it
My SA always says that I should help the quality control and list common issues (things I have learned here at TPF) haha. I think it is good to know the common issues and know exactly how your bag is compared to that. And then you make a decision if it things you can live with. I think I have some flaw on almost every luxury piece that I have bought (all brands) but I knew about them before purchase and decided I could live with it (I normally see details others would miss, could be a curse sometimes haha).
Wow. That's absolutely terrible. Sad that they don't take quality as a priority anymore.
Hi everyone! Even with all the defects I still love the reverse and am interested to see where I should purchase - live in US but will be visiting Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London and Paris next few months. Does anyone have opinions on how I can check for stock? Tried messaging through website and no responses, wondering if there is a language barrier?

Looks good! I agree, mine is not perfect but I love it. It held so much: a full water bottle, wallet, iPhone, chargers, ear buds, sunglasses, and scarf when I wore it to the racetrack! And I got so many compliments, even the bus boy loved it! Enjoy yours in good health and don't worry about minor imperfections, just think of it as character
I live in Netherlands and my SAs informed me that they aren't accepting any orders anymore for Mono or Mono Reverse Metis...the empreinte is possible to order with a deposit payment...

Hi, i am new in this club I have a rather Big Collection of LV and some Chanel but I have been hunting the LV Pochette Metis for quite some time. Unfortunately they told me at the LV Store in Stockholm today the Monogram version will not appear again in store/waiting list until next year. Luckely I saw the Empreinte version today and decide to purchase that one. I am just wondering, does the Empreinte version fit the same as the original monogram version? Are the measurments the same?

Are you Swedish? I live in Stockholm and I must have been lucky. Ordered my Pochette Metis reverse 1.5 months ago and bought it this Friday.
Anyway, the empreinte and canvas are both the same size but empreinte is softer than the canvas and will, as all leather, get softer with use and might stretch a little. This won't affect the dimensions since it is so minor but you might be able to fit a little more in it
And congrats to the purchase! I was also thinking about the empreinte. It is a gorgeous bag! Which color did you choose?
Does anyone know how long it takes for LV to process a refund? They have had my bag for 6 days now and no sigh of any refund yet??

I meant how can they paint like this.im so sad...it's a new one from boutique and red paint is already fading.
How they paint red color on it is really bad as well. Anyone who purchased same color have same problems? Or is it only mine ??
