Yea the plastic looks like a fake. Idk whether it's possible or not to hotstamp the handle. Thanks. Will check the authenticity once i receive the bag.

My PM noir just arrived. The bag is here. Date code SO2167 (week of June 26th). The bag seems new as extra QC tags were in the back pocket. Everything looks good except one side of the embossing on the lower right is almost non existent. In fact one of the tops of the flowers has smooth out so much that it's not there. Not sure how I feel about it.
My SA looked over the bag and I asked her to check the embossing. She thought everything looked very good. The front is ok, the back def is much deeper but that's ok as in time it will smooth out from wearing crossbody. Maybe I am just making a big deal over nothing because it's just the 1 bottom corner smoothed out to where it's almost non existent and it's the bottom.
Everything looks good- not even bothered that the flap print and bottom print don't line up.
What do u guys think? Would one side of an almost non existent emp in the bottom corner bother you for a $3k bag (taxes in). Is this the best I'm gonna get? Am I just being silly and expecting too much?

The empreinte on the bottom corners seem to fade fairly quickly. They now both look like the last picture you added. On my PM i can only see two vague circles on the corners. It will probably even out fast on your bag once you start to carry it.
Unfortunately after having my bag for two weeks I noticed that the glazing had different colors throughout the bag, ranging from a dark to a really bright red (not next to each other, otherwise I would have noticed) , it got sent of to get repaired in France. For now it is in repairs for a longer time then I actually had the bag for.
Thx you for ur reply. I always figure the corners would be a bit smoother because they have to tug on it and I guess stretch it a bit to sew. But these two corners don't match. The top of one flower is almost gone and so is most of the circle. If u think with time both corners will look like this after wearing then I can live with that. I just don't know how I feel about one corner completely off.
Were urs embossed more when bought new and then faded to this over time? If that's the nature of if the bag then ok, Thxs for telling me. I hardly wear my other emp pieces and though they came a bit faded in the corners both corners were faded at the same rate. They looked the same, but non are completely gone like this top piece of flower.
I'm so sorry ur bag has a prob with the glazing. I'm glad u sent it to France. I don't have much faith in the Cali repairs, esp with glazing. I hope it comes back perfect. I wish LV would focus on perfecting the bag instead of churning out new models of it. Good luck with ur repair- hope u get it back soon!!!
Your bag is absolutely beautiful, please enjoy it. And yes, the corners are about sewing (the leather is stretched), it is normal. I have few empreinte bags and it is the same on every single one. Let's celebrate you got a perfect ba, yay!

Thxs for ur response! It is truly a gorgeous bag. I was just wondering if it was a flaw for the PM esp if it's just one side and missing a flower tip. I didn't want to settle if this is not normal for the PM emp in brand new condition. [emoji4]
