I have the mono and wanting to add another in the empriente but can’t decide on colour.
Girls, my Cognac PM arrived. And now I have to show you something. I apologize if this has something to do with authentification, but I want to post it here sharing with all you PM lovers. And maybe you notice differences in your PMs as well?
First, the Cognac will get returned, I dont like the color in real life. It is too reddish for me. Also the embossing is horrible flat, dont like it. Its made in France fyi.
BUT: I compared it to my tourterelle one, which I bought preloved and got authenticated. And now Im unsure it could be fake
There are many small differences, but of course Im no expert and surely LV changed over the years their manufacturing. The tourterelle is from Dec. 2022, look at these pics.
What I can also tell, the leather feels different, the new cognac one is „rougher“ surface, dont like it. My tourterelle feels so smooth!
I just wanna warn everyone again to buy preloved, will never do that again. Now Im gonna check what the authenticator and Entrupy will say… lets see!

I have been so happy with my Pochette Metis. It is my Goldilocks bag: neither too large nor too small; casual enough for everyday wear but not so much that I can't take it to a casual lunch at a club (it's presentable, not pretentious); because it is almost all canvas, it is unfussy (I don't worry about the elements or my clumsy self spilling something on the bag); and while I realize it is a fairly recent release (2012), the PM has the classic, unstudied elegance of bags that have been around for much longer. Lovely.
I have a couple of bags that are made in Italy and I always get excited about that! Congrats! I've been wearing my reverse metis a bunch this fall so far.
Out of the box and first time putting in my essentials!🤎 Front patterns are misaligned. If it was the old me, it surely would have bothered me! But I have stopped searching for the perfectly aligned and flawless bags long time. As long as overall shape and stitching are ok, I can live with minor misalignments. It was also so nice of my CA to send me the microchip info of my bag. I call it "birth certificate".😆
