Need some PM-advice ladies! I've been thinking about getting a new pochette metis, this time in reverse monogram. I first bought the pm in monogram back in 2017, in Paris of all places! But this was back in the days when the bag had a lot of problems, and it happened to my bag after just a few months. The canvas cracked under the flap, and I eventually got a new bag which I then ended up selling. I've missed the bag on and off over the years, but I recently moved back to my hometown where it rains a lot! I don't see myself getting to use the monogram one much, so thinking about reverse. I like it, but not sure I love it just yet! I think I need to try it on irl. The lighter monogram in pictures sometimes seem too orangy-brown, other times more muted. I don't think I will have any problems matching it to my outfits as I only wear neutrals anyways and mostly just black. If you have the reverse, how do you like it? Do you get a lot of use out of it? And are there still problems with this bag regarding cracking, glazing etc.? Appreciate any advice!
I have the Metis in reverse and it has held up really well. I don’t have any cracking or issues with mine at all. It still looks brand new and I wear it at least a couple times a month probably. I wore it pretty heavily after I got it because it was so easy to wear 😊
I don’t find the reverse orangy at all, definitely more dark tan/khaki.
I hope you can go take a look at one in store so you can see it for yourself. I think you will definitely like the colors.
It’s definitely a bag I enjoy using and is very versatile with my black outfits 🥰
I purchased my reverse monogram 2 years ago and wear it pretty regularly on the weekends and haven't had any issues with the canvas or the glazing. I really like that it doesn't have vachetta so when it's raining, I'm definitely always using it. I also find it pretty easy to match what I'm wearing, but I typically wearing jeans and neutral colors (lots of creams, beiges, black and white.)
For me I love metis a lotttttt❤️ I have reverse monogram about 2 years and I have used it very often never baby it but it’s still like a new bag.

I think it’s a very comfortable bag ❤️ Mine is a pre-loved one from 2016 and still has a fantastic shape! You can fit a lot inside, and you can wear it casual or classy ❤️
Thank you for all of your advice! 🥰 I actually had the opportunity to try it on in the store last week and I was surprised to find that I did not like it as much as I thought I would. The bag in reverse monogram wasn't love at first sight so I decided to pass, and I got a Néonoé instead in monogram with black details - which will be more practical for work atm since I'm commuting. But I did get to try on a lot of the different PM's and I think my next bag will be the one in empreinte leather in dune/turtledove or black! Leaning more towards the lighter one since I have a few black bags already and wear a lot of black.
I could use some advice. I found a pre-loved PM in freesia MIF. I’m okay with normal wear and tear so it doesn’t have to be in perfect condition. However, should I be concerned about the corner wear in this picture? I’m not sure if this is normal or the start of a problem that’ll only get worse.
