Hi everyone! Just received my PM in empreinte leather noir in the mail today, but there are 2 things that I noticed right away that I am slightly upset about.

1. There is a red marking on the gold hardware. There are 2 red markings on the plastic film but it’s somehow on the hardware as well.

2. The bottom left corner looks like there’s a scuff mark.

I waited almost 2 weeks for this beauty to arrive. I’m not sure if I should look past this or bring it in to exchange/return?

The red spots will most likely wipe off, and to me the corner doesn't look scuffed, but just where the flat part where it's imprinted. My cream PM is the same on the corner

Try using a micro fiber cloth on the hardware, it will probably go away. I have also purchased extra protective films for the Métis hardware (you can find them online in various sites with accessories)

I’ll try to wipe it off again. I’ve zoomed in on the photo of the corner. It looks like the leather peeled to me...

I’ll try to wipe off with a microfiber cloth. Hopefully that will work. I’ll look into the protective films too. Thank you!

It looks like a worn area to me as well. If it doesn’t wipe off, I’d (personally) probably take it in. We all have different tolerance levels for what’s acceptable to us or not so ultimately it’s your call. Good luck.

Hi All, I got a Noir Emperiente pochette métis from Nordstrom. It arrived and was beautiful and I went to check where it was made and all it says is Louis Vuitton Paris. I also can’t find the date code. Should I be worried?

The new bags (made after March of 2021) have chips that LV can scan to get all of that information. No more tags with date codes.

First day out with my replacement PM in Turtledove. I was too impatient to wait for my son to put on the hardware stickers and I did it myself, so they're a little uneven. I'm glad they sent two sets. The first set was on the bag I turned in. View attachment 5029601

QQ: Can you buy a separate mono strap the same length at lv? This drop is perfect for me in the leather PM, but wanted to switch it up with a mono strap as well.
