Hi there -- I just measured and the zipper itself is roughly 8" long, but with it open you get about 7.25" of clearance because the zipper pull is quite big. I have an iPhone X and it fits just fine, although I have to put it in at an angle.

Try using a micro fiber cloth on the hardware, it will probably go away. I have also purchased extra protective films for the Métis hardware (you can find them online in various sites with accessories)

Check out Havre de Luxe. They have some great protective stickers. They used to go by a different name, but it escapes me right now. They do seem to send 2 sets which is nice. They are pre-cut. Good luck!

Question for the ones who have the empreinte noir and the mono . Which one do you use more ?
I have the mono (which I love) and looking for my first empreinte noir bag an thinking of getting it in the Métis

I have the mono and empreinte noir. I use my empreinte almost everyday. I go weeks without using the monogram though only because I live in a small town and don't want to carry an obvious designer bag to work.

Now need to get out of lockdown and take her for a drive! This is my first neutral/light color - everything in my collection is mostly black and pink

Can someone tell me how hard it is to snag PM in monogram? After thinking for 2 years I think I'm mentally ready for this step I'm thinking about calling CS and asking to check stores for me since I live in the state without any LV stores
