That's the beauty of Pandora isn't it? It wouldn't work for me though, my bracelet would still be empty :pout: It's okay, I accept that my husband isn't very thoughtfull (with gifts, not with everything. I once got a cactus for my birthday )
and just buy my own anyway.:tender: Gifts aren't very important where I live.
I totally agree. It also depends on one's finances! I understand that some people are happy to wait for charms as birthday or Christmas presents, and that some are happy to buy for themselves. I am a bit of both. When I first bought my bracelet, I bought 3 charms and 2 muranos, and wore it like that for ages. Then about a year later I was quickly building up to a full bracelet. Nowadays I just buy whatever charm I want. I do still get them as gifts from friends and love that too. I like changing my bracelet up depending on what I fancy. To be honest, if I had plenty of money, I would probably buy enough charms to fill it up straight away, haha!

I was looking at some of the new summer bracelets and dangle charms on The Jewel Hut yesterday and I have to admit that I am disappointed. I got an email saying the rose gold charms were available. I was really disappointed to find that there was about 3 or 4 rose gold dangle charms, the type you put on a necklace. I was also disappointed by the collection of new fine bracelets that they had out. I have the heart pave bracelet which I love but now they have several of these type of bracelets, but with different charms such as a horse shoe, the infinity sign, a heat etc. You can get these type of bracelets anywhere in any shop. These are very unoriginal. What do other people think?

I don't think much of the new bracelets - well I do quite like them, but don't want to pay Pandora premium prices for something that. like you say, you can get anywhere in any shop.

I'm more disappointed that the gold dangles contain CZ - would definitely have bought one if they were plain gold. Or onyx. Or white sapphire. Or any natural stone, actually.

I suppose a lot of you here are on vacation, just wanted to wish you a great time :beach: :sunshine: Kind of quite here :crybaby: Just kidding, I'll be okay, just a bit bored :shrugs: When you all get back I will be here to :welcome2: you all :D
Boo hoo, I'm not on vacation.....holiday as we call it in the UK. I wish I was. I am in the second week of my 6week summer holidays as I work in a school. I have to work the last 3 days of the last week as I am doing simmer school this year. I actually have no one to go on holiday with, except for my folks but they are elderly so that isn't going to happen! That's always the case when one doesn't have a boyfriend. All my female friends are holidaying with their other halves. I've never had a friend ask if I would like to go on a girls holiday. That would be amazing. However, I know they would rather go with their partners which is why I have never asked either. : (

Hi ladies, This is my first foray onto the Pandora thread, Ardnas, although I've lurked for some time, looking at the gorgeous pics you all post!

I've just returned from a family beach holiday on the south coast, to rather dire weather, although I did purchase my first Pandora rings yesterday before coming home. Here they are, with my Mulberry Small Bayswater Satchel ...
Well done on your purchases! Lovely choices.

Yeah, I was hoping for actual charms, not the dangle type. I would have bought one I think to try out. Again they are just unoriginal looking. If I bought one, it could be from any shop and not easily identifiable as a Pandora.

Ahhh...my leather bracelet just broke! I only put one charm on it and was switching the charm out when the thread came off and is now stuck inside my charm! The glue or whatever must have come undone!

Technically I have had this bracelet just over a year...do u think they will do anything for me? I'm going to bring it in tomorrow probably or Monday and show them the bracelet and charm....ugh!!

Oh no! I think they will repair it, but there may be a charge! :(

I'm not keen either. I like rose gold, but could not have gold with CZ! Also, I would prefer them to be actual charms, not pendants. I would only wear a pendant on a necklace. Not a lover of the bracelets either, just not my style and like you say, they're unoriginal.

I bought one more charm today, the Ocean Breeze (openwork) to wear on my brown leather bracelet, but I forgot that it can fall off if I don't have a clip to keep it in place. Is there a way to secure it a bit without a clip? I did a little bit of googling on it and someone said on FB to put an o-ring under, is that right? If anyone has a picture of how that works/looks, I'd love to see.

Actually, never mind! I found the answer in a comment on a charms addict post from a couple years ago. Someone suggested taking a small rubber band and wrapping it in the area where I want the charm to sit and place the charm overtop. It seems to be doing the trick! I'll see how it holds up. :)
