Hi Ardnas, thank you for the welcome! :) No, I'm not a Purseblog newbie - just a not-so-closet Mulberry fan! ;)

I had my first Pandora bracelet last year and have been adding bits and bobs since. I'll definitely show you my little collection soon - I've even, rather bizarrely, started buying charms that would suit my DDs, even though I haven't even bought them an actual bracelet yet. I'm worried that the charms will get retired and then I've missed the boat. :( I may get them a leather one, for one or two charms, until they're old enough for the silver bracelets ...

You could just collect them for now, and give them altogether as a gift for a special birthday :)

Good afternoon everyone!

Question for you: My husband and I are about to buy our first car together (it's actually a Chrysler Town and Country to fit our growing family). Our previous cars were gifted to us thus we never had a car payment...so this is a big deal for us :)

I want to get a charm for this memory! Does anyone have that little car charm and how do you like it? I'm not sure I'm in love with it, but i haven't seen it in person yet either. Also, what do you all think of the dangle key to represent the purchase? Is that dumb? Any other fun ideas to represent our car purchase? Lol thanks for any input!!

If you don't like the car when you see it in person, I think the key is a cute idea!

Please let me know if you end up liking the car charm! I passed my driving test yesterday and really would like to get the car charm for my bracelet to represent it :)

Ahhh...my leather bracelet just broke! I only put one charm on it and was switching the charm out when the thread came off and is now stuck inside my charm! The glue or whatever must have come undone!

Technically I have had this bracelet just over a year...do u think they will do anything for me? I'm going to bring it in tomorrow probably or Monday and show them the bracelet and charm....ugh!!

I was looking at some of the new summer bracelets and dangle charms on The Jewel Hut yesterday and I have to admit that I am disappointed. I got an email saying the rose gold charms were available. I was really disappointed to find that there was about 3 or 4 rose gold dangle charms, the type you put on a necklace. I was also disappointed by the collection of new fine bracelets that they had out. I have the heart pave bracelet which I love but now they have several of these type of bracelets, but with different charms such as a horse shoe, the infinity sign, a heat etc. You can get these type of bracelets anywhere in any shop. These are very unoriginal. What do other people think?

OH no, that's awful. If you return it to the shop you got it from, they may be generous and change it for you, but I personally have not experienced such generosity. Normally if the charm/jewellery is still within the year's guarantee, you would send it back and they would fix it and return it to you. However since it has been over a year, they won't do this. Your best bet is to take it back tot he shop and hope you are served by someone kind. Someone once said that the leather isn't glued onto the threads, but are in fact intertwined somehow. I wonder if you can stick a small screw drive in the thread of the charm and untwist the thread?
