I'M agree i like some of the paves but now i saw so many that i just dont want one anymore, i think too much it's too much, i like the two-tone too, i hope that the collection of autumn will be a little bit different

Me too. I thought the summer collection with the sea horse charm and the other dangle with the studded tops was just too much. They don't look like Pandora to me. But maybe they will be super cute in person.

I think the strawberry and horse head were brought back after they were retired, but it looks like they're both back to being retired. Although there are a few pieces that I adore in each release I'm getting more disappointed in the direction the've gone. I love two tone charms, but I don't think we'll be seeing too much more of that. Looks like they just keep bedazzling their old designs. I love the classic two tone christmas tree, why then release a bedazzled version! There are some very elegant paves, but the multicolor one that's coming out doesn't look like pandora at all to me :cry:

I think they should do some kind of special, like Disney does with their classic movies, where they bring them all out for a month or so every few years. That would be cool. I would save up for that and stock up on all the retired charms lol

It seems most of the newer beads are pave ones (not a fan). They are using this inexpensive cz stone and phasing out the beautiful gemstone and diamond charms. So sad. I'll just have to work harder finding the lovely retired beads!

You're so right. I don't dislike the pave ones in small doses, but sad that their won't be any with diamonds etc. This leads to people trying to search for them online etc, and then having problems like some of the ladies had with Jewel First!

I just looked over the summer collection, and it reminds me more and more of chamilia, which there is nothing wrong with, it's just not pandora.
Hopefully pandora is stalking these threads and take note.

I agree. Why pay about the same for a CZ charm when you can get a gemstone for about the same? Don't get me wrong, I have lots of 'em like oval lights, in blue, lime green, champagne and black but they are about the same price as the kiss spacers, which I have in citrine, blue topaz and amethyst. I have a couple of pave's like winter wisp and light as a feather but they aren't gaudy like some others (IMHO).


Is there anyone on this forum who has been collecting for more than 10 years? I keep all the little catalogues and have them back as far as 2008. Since Pandora has been around since '79/80 I would love to see some of the really old charms.


There is a website called the WAYBACK machine that allows you to enter websites for retailers. I have found Coach collections as far back as 1997 but not Pandora. Some other weird adult web site comes up in 1997 so I have no idea when they went online. Plus there is Pandora.com, an internet music site to complicate it further.


I have been buying retired charms recently like the moonstone triangle and carnelian triplet, they are so classy and timeless. Has anyone got the peridot, gold, diamond charm 790381D? I love that charm. It is gorgeous.

I don't think jewel first own unforgettable moments. It would be strange for them to have been authorised and jewel first not. And none of the contact details match.
Jewel first own "me me me accessories" though.

Mememe sell Pandora too, how confusing. Mememe is authentic though right? Thy stopped selling Pandora a while ago and now they have some in. It's odd.

After doing some more online research, I came across a seller on ebay called, "Collectatroll" They sell troll beads (Not familiar with that brand) they use the same looking stock photo's, Description looks identical but they sell out of Florida. Not New York like Collectabead. It's very strange!!

I don't think you should look too deeply into it. If the feedback is good and the photos are the actual charms then just go for it. Buy one and see if you like it. If you think it's fake then return it and lesson learned. Ebay do sell some real Pandora. It's mainly word of mouth, experience and recommendations.

Oh I just don't like all these CZ pave, dazzling blinging charms. All too glitzy. I prefer classic looking two tone or jewelled charms.

Oh! And guess what, last night in a moment of weakness I purchased the beehive charm on perlen. I've been wanting that stupid little charm for over two years. So then I wake up this morning feeling super guilty about spending that much, but still go to check out whats going on that rue la la sale, and behold.... The beehive charm for half off!!!!

Super choice. Here is mine. My friend got me it for summer last year. We work in a school and we exchange summer break presents! The photo of my bracelet is old but you can make out the beehive charm just.

I'm not sure, I haven't np heard much about me me me. They're not authorised to sell pandora anymore though. Jewel first own them now, so I personally would avoid.
