Oh I just don't like all these CZ pave, dazzling blinging charms. All too glitzy. I prefer classic looking two tone or jewelled charms.

Yes, agree 100%. Where I am the biggest Pandora store is right next to Thomas Sabo, they are both full of pave this and that. Then there's Swarovski, too. I stopped buying Pandora a few years ago, & when I go in, the older SA's all admire my no-discontinued beads....

I agree. Why pay about the same for a CZ charm when you can get a gemstone for about the same? Don't get me wrong, I have lots of 'em like oval lights, in blue, lime green, champagne and black but they are about the same price as the kiss spacers, which I have in citrine, blue topaz and amethyst. I have a couple of pave's like winter wisp and light as a feather but they aren't gaudy like some others (IMHO).

Is there anyone on this forum who has been collecting for more than 10 years? I keep all the little catalogues and have them back as far as 2008. Since Pandora has been around since '79/80 I would love to see some of the really old charms.

There is a website called the WAYBACK machine that allows you to enter websites for retailers. I have found Coach collections as far back as 1997 but not Pandora. Some other weird adult web site comes up in 1997 so I have no idea when they went online. Plus there is Pandora.com, an internet music site to complicate it further.

I have been buying retired charms recently like the moonstone triangle and carnelian triplet, they are so classy and timeless. Has anyone got the peridot, gold, diamond charm 790381D? I love that charm. It is gorgeous.

I have been collecting since 2006, some of my family were collecting for a year or two before I started, I didn't keep any of my old books though. I also think they retired the silver strawberry and brought it back. It was one of the earlier beads I bought.

Are you talking about the charm that has the peridot inside the gold flower, it has like a silver swirl with flowers? If so I think I have that one.

I believe that although pandora was started late 70s, their charm bracelet didn't come out until 2000.

the charms bracelets start at 2000 with 15 charms, you can see it in this link from charms addicts:

Yes that charm is the one I am looking for. It is so pretty and peridot is a lovely colour. It is pretty and feminine without looking old fashioned or too childish.

Ya I know I have seen them too. And there is another one as well with Chamilia beads, I just can not remember the name. Collectacharm or something like that. But with the volume they sell I am sure they have more than one person handling things and maybe they are just affliates. Anyways. I am going to stop defending them lol I hope your charm will be ok, like I said mine were authenticated. And that is my last word on the topic lol but do let us all know what happens :)
It's good to hear that all of your charms from Collectabead are Authentic :smile1:

Got my two charms from Jewel First today: the house and the small two tone flower bouquet. I compared it to my flower bouquet and it's exactly the same, every last bit. I've had a look at the house charm in real life and it looks genuine too. I am happy and satisfied that they are both genuine and new. Not worn like some people have experienced.

Here is a picture of the house charm which I got for my friend who is moving house. I will give it to her once she has moved as I don't want to jinx it for her.

Beautiful bracelet! You sure managed to get a lot of charms on yours, what size is it? I love the tangled beauty charm as well. I have the bee and the hive charms, very cute and now both retired, I think.
Thanks I really like the charms that I have on. I don't like the paves much and I don't have any on. I have some stones but they are small and cute.

Can you tell me what month and what stone is your birthday bloom? It looks like such a deep red I'm not sure which one it is.

Your bracelet is beautiful I love it! I love the pink looking glass, I have 2 myself.
Thanks!x The flower charm is the old October charm. It's a fuchsia pink in real life, the stone is Tourmaline. It was retired. I got it in the sale early last year.

Hi ladies need some advice. Do the bracelets stretch? I got the new essence with one charm. Bracelet size 16cm. I do have small hand wrist. Its quite fitted. I only plan on wearing two beads.
A lot of people always ask this question and have done on here. From experience and other peoples posts, Pandora bracelets don't stretch. They are rigid when they are new, but become soft and flexible when they are worn over time. This makes them appear to be bigger but in fact are not. Also because they are softer, they hang differently giving you the impression they have stretched. However a small percentage of people have said that their bracelets have stretched but as I have never experienced this with any of the 5 bracelets I have, I can't agree with this. As long as you don't over fill each section, you should be okay.
