I just Googled the address on the JF website. It is a residential row house that has a sign in the window for an accountant! When they listed the address I presumed it was an actual store. Now it looks like it may be someone who has a conduit to charms, whether genuine or not.

Now I am glad that it took so long for my charms to arrive. Thank goodness the wrong country was on the original package. I am still within the time for refund. I got another last week and am still waiting for my final purchase that was shipped on Feb 5 so I won't get it for another week.

I'm off to take my purchases to an authorized dealer.
Blimey this all sounds a bit dodgy!! Good bit of investigative work. They have certainly conned a lot of people. I thought it was a shop address too.

UPDATE: I received an email reply from Jewel First stating that all of their Pandora is 100% authentic, but that they will happily return it for me. I have a Pandora box to send it back in, have already filled out the return form, and will be mailing it out this evening. It's unfortunate that it will be at my expense but it's a small price to pay compared to the money I spent on these charms. I'll let you guys know once my credit card is actually refunded.
They provide the packaging too which is why it makes it all the more believable.

Another company previously mentioned on this forum that sold genuine Pandora for less was Unforgettable Moments. Their website is almost identical to the JF website and they also sell the identical charms for the same price. However, when I googled that address an actual storefront jewelry store called Moments came up. They sell other stuff beside Pandora. Both are in Durham UK.
Yeah I had noticed the similarity too of the lay out etc. I first read about Jewel First here, but am now beginning to wonder if the person who made the post was actually the person selling the charms (Jewel First themselves!).

They seem to have a lot of stock, all be it old. Does this mean they are all fake?

I honestly don't know if everything is fake. The Beveled clips I ordered seem very authentic looking and I never would have thought twice about them (except one is VERY difficult to open and close, unlike my store-bought clips) but my anchor charm just seemed so off that I had to investigate.

I'm very annoyed at incurring the cost of postage for the return as I live in Canada but it was a lesson learned, that's for sure.

The Jewel First website says that items need to be returned within 7 days from the day it was shipped out. This is a con because by the time it comes and if it's faulty or whatever, and you send it back, it will be longer than 7 days!!

I have the same bevelled clip but can't remember if I got it from there or Unforgettable Moments. The marking are inside the clip and certainly look legit and the same as the marking on the inside of a bracelet clasp.

Just a quick word about this. Although in this circumstance the company in question does sound dodgy, A LOT of small limited businesses use their accountants as their registered company address with Company House (in the UK).

Apparently not all fake. I had no idea so many of you used jewel first! If I had I'd have pm'd you all.
It's just one of those things isn't it. When I get mine if it's fake, I will just return it. The charm I got my friend is the same as mine so will do a compare. I will just loose out on the postage. I wonder if anyone has been 100% happy with their JF items?
