This is the only charm I have ever purchased online. All of my other charms (as well as my bracelet) were purchased at my local Pandora store.

As soon as I saw this charm I was very weary of it. It felt lighter than my other charms, but it was also my first two-tone so I thought perhaps I was being paranoid. Then I noticed how faint the 925 ALE mark was and all kind of alarms began tomgo off. I have 6 other charms, ALL of which have an incredibly well defined marking on them.

I took the charm to Pandora today, and it is indeed fake. I honestly would never have brought it in if the engraving hadn't been so terribed, and if the core of the charm hadn't looked so uneven and discoloured.

Your gut instinct was right then. I'm still quite shocked because I've heard others on this thread rave about them plus my work mates. I just looked on this fan page called Mora Dora and she raves about them too! And I thought her website is similar to charms addict the lady who runs charms addict seem to know her stuff. When you read Mora Dora she sounds like she knows her stuff and she often has has scoop photos of up and coming charm and other pandora related to stuff. It's hard to trust anything now.,

I though so, too. The only reason I even ordered from Jewel First was because of what I read in this forum. Pandora Addict has a warning on their website that Jewel First has sent fakes to their customers. Unfortunately I did not see that until today.

It's no secret that they're not authorised. I think it would be a good idea for your friends to get any charms checked out if they are concerned about them..

Thanks I'm definately going to get them to have their charms checked out because some of them have been buying multiple purchases from them for a fair while. I think I was lucky not ordered from them despite the rave in the office about JF they just didn't have anything I really really wanted.

I've learnt now that have to do a shed load of digging about the company before purchasing. When I bought sale stuff off republic of jewels I wasn't too worried as I have ordered full price current stock from them before. The only worry I had was that the website might be fake as in there were fraudsters replicating there website

I think Republic of Jewels is authorized, is it not?

I found the return slip online for my items so I'll be sending them back tomorrow and hopefully my credit card will be credited a week-two weeks later.

RoJ r definitely authorised come under Ireland rather than uk. Good luck I hope they give you your money back asap. They should at least give you a reason why they sold you a item that does not look like the description.

I emailed the seller and asked for an actual photo of the bead and still no response... Something just doesn't sit right. I'm going to ask ebay to cancel my purchase. Thanks ladies for your advice, I really appreciate it :)

Good call, I wish you the best of luck. Sorry about all this, let us know how you get on though. I did notice in the sellers feedback that there were experiences of buyers attempting to contact them, but no response. All very frustrating for you regardless.

I've just caught up on this.... Sorry to hear there are more bad experiences going on, good luck with the return, certainly warranted.

Well, I finally received a return message. The seller was a bit rude and told me that if I questioned authenticity that I should just go to the concept store and pay full price. IDK, What should I do?? Do you think I can cancel my order? Or should I just go through with it and risk it?

Also, I told the seller that I would take the charm to have it Authenticated (If I purchase) and he said go ahead.

Oh yeah, I asked about him sending me an actual photo of the charm and he told me that the photo they used is from their own photographer.

A Pandora SA in my local store told me that they are retiring the dice charm, but that they're also bringing out a new dice with cz stones in it. Does anybody know if this is true? I can't find any information about the new dice :(

I just Googled the address on the JF website. It is a residential row house that has a sign in the window for an accountant! When they listed the address I presumed it was an actual store. Now it looks like it may be someone who has a conduit to charms, whether genuine or not.

Now I am glad that it took so long for my charms to arrive. Thank goodness the wrong country was on the original package. I am still within the time for refund. I got another last week and am still waiting for my final purchase that was shipped on Feb 5 so I won't get it for another week.

I'm off to take my purchases to an authorized dealer.
