Tortora is such a beautiful color, I am so happy to hear you like it! There is not currently a plan to introduce the bag with rose gold hardware (I'll pass the idea along). The Cupid in Tortora is currently only available with light gold hardware. :D

*~*Hi RM Team!! Just a small suggestion; is it possible for the Mini MAC/MAC to be made without studs on the leather strap? I love the design (aesthetically), but the studs tend to pull strands of my hair. I'm not sure if any others have had that problem...*~*

Hello!

That is a great suggestion regarding the strap on our MACs/Mini MACs! A lot of our customers have the same complaint about the studs on the strap. I am definitely going to pass that suggestion along to the team here.

I recently made a purchase and was SOOOOO disappointed with the product that I actually emailed the customer service. While I haven't received a response, I wanted to post my email here as well as hopefully it might get to the powers that be so that change can happen...

"To whom it may concern,

I recently placed an order (see number referenced above) and wanted to write to you to let you know how disappointed I was in the product. I have been a long time Rebecca Minkoff devotee and purchased numerous bags over the past 6 or 7 years. This year, I purchased a Ben Minkoff Brody Slim Brief in saffiano leather for my husband as a Father's Day Gift. I had to email and call 4 times before the item was even shipped almost a week after it was purchased. When it arrived, I opened the bag ahead of time (thankfully) only to find that there was glue all over the bag in various places with paper stuck to it- on both the leather exterior as well as the fabric exterior zipper. I was able to remove the glue and paper and did a quick once over before wrapping up the bag to give as a gift. Had the bag shipped when I actually ordered it I would have had enough time to choose a different item but due to the ridiculous shipping delay I wasn't left with much of a choice. My husband opened the bag and while it has great styling, it is amazing to me how much the quality has decreased over the years. The material on the interior of the bag is incredibly thin and cheap feeling. While the saffiano leather on the bag appears decent enough, the leather on the crossbody strap is incredibly flimsy and cheap. I loved the look of the bag online but after inspecting it in person I am so disappointed in the quality of the item- if you have ever seen a product that is a result of a designer collaboration with Target- it looks akin to that. Slightly nicer than normal Target quality but certainly not nice enough to justify a $325 price tag.

My husband likes the style of the bag and I haven't the heart to tell him that it isn't a high quality item like I had hoped (and certainly paid a higher price tag for!) otherwise I would very quickly be returning the item. I hope for the sake of what once was a great brand your quality bumps back up to where it used to be. At one time you could justify the $300-$500 price on items but at this quality it's only a matter of time before everyone else realizes how poor the quality is and either prices will have to drastically decrease or the brand will flop. As the designs themselves are fun and innovative I can only hope that you decide to choose better materials so that the brand survives the test of longevity.

I had the same problem when I wore the neon pink Mini MAC. It actually ripped out a few strands and kept catching on to my hair. I thought I was only having a bad day and put it away after because it had to be exchanged. :/

Love your new bag! Congrats on getting a new one you love! I know you went through a lot of hassle trying to get this all worked out.

Thank you! I love including him in my fashion shoots. Most of the time he comes along and even takes pictures himself. :p

And I am so glad I can finally wear the bag! Afterall I bought it in march! ;)

omg this!
I've replaced the strap of my mac with a pleather strap from some random bag I had lying around as it was a pain pulling my hair out of the studs!
also it hurts with the studs digging into my shoulder!
it's a lot more functional now without the original strap
 
Hi RM team, I'm having to return my second mini mac in tortora after one day of use each. Both bags have peeled/had the color rub off. I've never experienced this before. I've attached a photo for your reference. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1404776844.090166.jpg

Any chance you will be releasing any new MAM's? I noted a beautiful charcoal MAC on revolveclothing.com and I am hoping to pick up that color in a larger bag!
