In the pics of the S/S 2013 Runway Show there was a pretty green duffel that looked to be python stamped. It was instant love!
Can anyone tell me if that bag will be produced, and if so, when.
The only store that sells RM where I live is Saks, and I've asked the SA there if one comes in, to just charge it to my card and call me to come in and get it!!!

I've posted a little rant in a couple of the Special Order threads that I'm a part of. But I'm hoping maybe if I post my grievances here maybe someone higher up will take notice.
As of now- I'm on the lists for a few different SO's, one of which I started myself. I first talked to Nicole back in November which she gave me the green light to get it started and we had the minimum requirements within a matter of days. When I sent her the contact list hoping to hear back and send in our deposits she said that they wouldn't be able to go into production until after the first of the year. Which I do understand. The holidays are a busy time.
After the new year, I've tried getting ahold of Nicole both via email, and I've also called a couple times. Each time I call, I get Anya and she puts me on hold for a second to say that Nicole is not in. I just get the feeling that it's being blown off. Even if the bags aren't able to go into production yet, it would be nice to just get some sort of acknowledgement that we haven't been forgotten or some sort of update. Many of us are pinching our pennies to save up for this bag. So if it's not even a possibility any longer, it would be nice to know.
And not only that SO, but it also seems that the other SO's I'm signed up for aren't getting any attention or response either.
There has been a SO for the BQP MAC waiting in the wings for sometime now while RM sourced the new leather, or so we were told. And most of us had no problem waiting for the perfect materials to make our special bag a reality. None of us had heard anything in months. And then much to our surprise there is a new BQP MAC in the Made in NYC line with very similar spec's as our SO. When we didn't even know the leather was available yet.
I'm a pretty patient person but I'm just beginning to feel a little irritated. Most of us who come to tPF are dedicated RM fans. A vast majority of my handbag collection are RMs and I can't remember the last time I have bought a different designer's bag. We put in the extra time and patience to come up with the SO's to be a part of something special and unique. And I feel like we're getting the cold shoulder on them now. Like I said before, it would just be nice to get some sort of acknowledgement that we're not forgotten and they are still a possibility.

I'm with you Kenzibray!! I emailed Nicole on January 2, and I have yet to receive ANY response! I said I would give her until Feb 1, but I am getting a little irritated! i wanted to get a new SO started! It involves bqp so I was ready for her to say it wasn't available, but she never even responded! I love RM, but if they are going to offer SO's, then they need to be ready to get SO's and fill them!

She's always been so great about response time in the past. The most it had ever taken was about a week during the Sample Sales and I had assumed that was why she was busy.
Yeah that's what I heard! That's why I thought it would be no problem getting my SO started. I understand things come up, but it would be nice of her to at least respond to her customers!
Add me to the list. Although my SO is not as far along as Kenzy's, I was trying to get status for the minkettes
tpf Kerry pouch. Last I heard the leather needed to be sourced (sometime in Nov. I believe?) It'd be nice to know what our timeframe is, or if there are any options for us to get this SO into production. Thanks!
I'm not part of any of the current SOs but I can imagine your frustration. Even this thread which is supposed to be a key communication channel seems to have been neglected by the RM Team
