Ok so on 27 Nov you posted how you wanted a MAM and for RM to keep up the good work. This week you are posting how horrible RM is (see other threads), how lousy customer service is, poor quality bags etc. they offered to take the bag back even though it was final sale. You are entitled to have an opinion and to spend your money on any brand you want so don't buy RM again, but it is unfair of you to trash RM in the forum when they offered to make this right but didn't respond immediately to your demand they pay for return shipping.. I love the brand, it is great quality, and i will continue to buy as will many others.

Normally I wouldn't speak up on a matter like this, but I have to say that I agree. While I can understand being annoyed and feeling that the quality and CS experience didn't meet expectations (I think we've all been there at one point or another with one brand or another), I don't think it's really fair to take that one experience and then completely trash the brand in more than one thread.

I have heard about and had quality concerns with RM bags in the past, but my experiences overall have been exceedingly more positive than negative. Every brand is entitled to a couple of duds when mass production is taken into account - we tend to always hear more about the negative than the positive and then that can get blown out to make it seem like the whole brand stinks or every bag has a QC problem.

So, while I appreciate the opinion and the right to leave the brand behind, I just ask that the experience be presented with the appropriate perspective rather than denigrating all RM bags and all RM CS experiences.

It's the holiday season which is the busiest time of the year. Realistically, you cannot expect an instant reply. Even during off-peak season, replies from companies are usually in 2 business days. I think RM stands behind the brand and I will continue to purchase from her.

Agreed! I'm sure with the Online Sale and recent SS in LA plus the Made in NY bags on top of the holidays things are super busy.

I've had more good experiences than bad and I will continue to buy her brand. One hiccup, I'm not ready to sell all my bags and give up all together. I think to say they'll accept a return on a bag that said specifically "no returns" is pretty nice of them. If you're weary, buy from somewhere with a better return policy or not from the sale itself.

 
this might not be the right place to post, but does anyone else get annoyed with the pics rebeccaminkoff posts on instagram? personally, i love when designers post what inspires them or what they are working on and up to, but RM often posts pictures she swipes off other sites, with no mention of who the original image belongs to. the other day she posted a pic of a manicure that had a watermark in the corner and i commented protesting that its unfair to post an image (weather you're pretending its your own or not) and not give credit to who took it and my comment was deleted :tdown::nogood:
anyone on pintrest/tumblr/instagram knows that people don't always post images that belong to them, but from a designer (who i imagine has some feelings about being knocked off and intelectual property) i expected better...just my two cents.
 
That is wonderful to be able to chat with the designer and her team directly! It makes owning her bags a very personal experience. I am quickly beginning to be a RM addict and have added 3 of her bags to my collection: the Matinee in black, Matinee in light gray, and the basket weave MAB (on pre-order). Can't wait to get more!

So glad I found this thread!

I have a Jodi baby bag and three of the stud fronts along the zipper are missing. Yes, it's interesting how the fronts are missing and the backs still there, so I pulled the backs out in fear of losing everything. Anything I can do about this?

Has anyone tried to call customer service lately? I've called several #s, several times and still no luck. No one is answering. This is so disappointing. Hopefully I get an email response back or something soon. :confused1:
 
So sad to not be able to find a mini mac (non-patent) in Black /w Silver hardware. Really wanted the Made in NYC one but it disappeared recently! Was hoping to have money for one next month for my birthday, I hope this will be an option again in the future!
 
I emailed Nicole over 2 weeks ago about possibly starting a SO. She (or anyone for that matter) has yet to return my email. I am wondering if I should email her again or just forget about it. One of the reasons I love RM is the opportunity to do SO's, but if the person responsible for the SO's doesn't return emails, what is the point of even having them?! I have also noticed all the SO's from late 2012 have been put on an indefinite hold. I am also wondering if anyone knows why!

Sorry for the mini rant but I am a little frustrated! I would just really like to get some answers.

Thank you so much for the reply! I was not sure what to do. I'll wait until Feb. 1 and if I don't hear anything by then I'll try to email her again!

And I hope she gets back to you soon as well!
