RM Team,

I had a bag I have been searching for forever in my cart yesterday on the online sale (the black straw MAC bombe) and after I entered all my information, the order did not go through because the bag sold out. Is there any chance that you might have another lying around somewhere. Please help if possible! Thanks :)

Hi RM team,

I posted on the "Likelihood of an Online Sample Sale?" thread yesterday, and have been encouraged to re-post on this thread, in the hope that someone at RM will read and take it (and a lot of Minkettes!!) into consideration...

You are so right. I must say, this whole sale has been a real disappointment, and I don't mean only in terms of what is/isn't offered.

Frankly I wish RM would reconsider this idea of adding to the sale in dribs and drabs. It is manipulative, and that's a major turn-off. (Imagine if someone buys a bag from the sale one day, and the next day sees a bag added to the sale which she really wanted, but shouldn't get it now due to her budget. And no, I'm not talking about myself...) People may joke about going broke, or deeper into debt, etc., but that's an individual customer's decision. However -- When it comes to the way a seller conducts business, it is disrespectful of her customers to deliberately prevent them from being able to make knowledgeable purchasing decisions. It's bad taste.

I would love to see the Grape Alligator in a MAB, I've seen the Mam in other people's collection, and I'm not the only one who has shown an interest in that. Unfortunately for a bunch of us, there were a lot of Grape Nikkis, Mabs, and other styles on Luna Boston (not sure if they were exclusives) and their photographs were wildly off color wize. They all looked pink and not purple on the website. That is how I missed out, and I'm sure a few others as well. If Grape came back, textured or not, in some classic Matinee, Mab, even Mams, I'm sure they would sell. I prefer buying new bags, and to be honest, RM has not been doing much in Purple in the larger bags lately. Love the desire, but am not a fan of the whipstich.

Can you guys think about resurecting Grape? it's an awesome color, and I'm just sorry Luna Bostons colors were so off.

Your gracious reply is much appreciated. Just in case you think I'm the only one who feels this way, do check the "Likelihood of an Online Sample Sale?" thread, starting with post #472. Other Minkettes posted similar feelings, sprinkled all the way through to #591 (if not later)... I'm quite sure it's safe to say that a change in the way Online Sample Sales are structured would be greatly appreciated (including by many who didn't post). Looking forward to better times ahead!

It seems to me that if all of the items went up at the same time there would be fewer single item orders from the same people (because people can just place a single multiple item order). If they're behind in processing orders this could be an important consideration.

People would also be more likely to order multiple items, in general, I think. If you buy something on Monday and then another item you like becomes available Thursday you're less likely to buy it than you would have been if you were just able to fill your cart all at once.

Please bring back the black basket weave MAM or MABs with colored zipper tape! I'm dying to get one and wasn't able to participate in the most recent special orders or Made in NYC limited edition.

Hi RM Team -

I second this, while the studs on my Dusty Lilac MAC are a nice touch, several hairs have been lost in the name of fashion. :D

As for bringing back HG's, please consider bringing back the Glazed Almond Nikki with silver hardware. The reveal threads from a couple years ago look amazing, and I would love to get my hands on a brand-new one rather than a very well-worn one of questionable condition from an auction site.

Also, please bring back Rose Gold hardware with Black mini MACs or mini 5 zips - I think the warmth of the rose gold would really pop against the black color, making it a fun day and going-out bag. The rose gold just feels very special, and I know there are a lot of Minkettes who would love it!
