Just wanted to post some pics of a repair I did today on my Metis Hobo. Had a hole
In corner and got brave after watching you tube video and purchased 3m vinyl/leather repair. I was very nervous to try this because it involves heat but I am so pleased with results. It's not perfect but it looks a lot better and hopefully won't tear any further. The top picture is the after..lol, had some trouble getting both to post.
Or any rescuers here can give an opinion? Appreciate your thoughts, thanks!Hi MissAllyn,
I'm looking to buy this Alma but do you think it can be rescued?

I think a leather filler kit is your best bet. I got one on Ebay. Has 5-6 colors so you can blend the correct color, and pieces of different grains to match the bag's grain.Could you please share how you did this? Maybe what you knew before hand. I always feel like after I'm done that I wish I had known something before I start (hope that makes sence). Normally I can redo it or have a test piece but my delightful has these cracks and LV won't do anything so I want to try something.
