picked up this super dirty NF mm roses for 575 and now she's like new.. she had liquid stains, saturated pen marks all over the inside, food residue, grime and gunk, etc. and the leather all around was so dark it was almost black. filthy condition and now... perfect. there was nothing wrong w/the bag except lots of dirt. guess the owner didn't want to clean it. the second and third pics are with flash so it looks darker inside

What did you use for pen marks? I have one bag coming in with pen marks.

Looks good! That price of $575 is crazy. I would have jumped on that too, dirt/stains and all LOL! Great cleaning job.

Can you share what products you used for the various parts of your bag? It looks amazing and that is an incredible price for Stephen Sprouse - great work!

Didn't realize there was a Rescue clubhouse, so here are my beauties.
LV Spring Streets (I have 3, need more) in Bright Red, Raspberry Plum and Deep Sea Blue. Dyed with Fiebings dye in Oxblood (Red), Oxblood + Purple (Raspberry Plum) and Aqua Green + Navy (Deep Sea Blue)

I use them all the time, although I need to treat the handles on the Red and Plum ones so I can take them out in the rain.

What a great job!!

And these were my "test" pieces before I tackled the Spring Streets. Vernis pochette and Sarah Wallet. The Pochette started out this odd yellow/silver color and became deep red. And the Sarah Wallet was a pearl color, and became pink. For both I used Fiebings dye in Oxblood. Just goes to show that starting color matters *so much* when dyeing vernis.

The wallet is actually going to get re-dyed next month, as the bottom edge absorbed too much dye and it is darker than the rest of the wallet. That was a lesson in doing the edges with a tiny paint brush first, before dyeing the rest of the bag. Ooops. I'm going to try to re-dye the whole wallet closer to the color of the Raspberry Plum Spring Street.

And those are my re-dyed vernis pieces! I'm eyeing up some more vernis pieces, but I have two monogram projects on the docket that I need to do first. I'm really hoping that dyeing vachetta is as easy as dyeing vernis!

And a group shot of the 3 (I had just finished the red one, hence the taped handles)

You did some mind blowing jobs. I especially love the colour on the left. I didn't even knew that model until I saw your photos. Now I have to hunt for one! Is handle vachetta? And can you attach cross body strap? Also did you have any chips on vernis leather that was a problem for the die job? Thanks!!
