Just want to share my little experiment...The wallet was my first try at this and was supposed to be the same color as the lexington, obviously I wasn't too sure on the process and I had to end up going black with it but I think I got the lexington done pretty good. Especially since these two cuties are gonna be inside my purse.

Wow! Those are awesome.

Has anyone had success removing initials inside of an epi leather key holder? I ordered a cheap, used 4 key holder with the intent of restoring it and trying it to see if it works for me before I order a new one (no LV store in my area, so can't try it in person). I'm pretty sure rubbing alcohol would remove the silver in the embossing, but I worry that it might damage the interior finish. Thanks for any ideas!

Can you share your DIY project with us, thank you and also were there any color transfer?

I read somewhere that a little steam might make the embossing pop out again. I haven't tried it so I don't know that it would work. Someone also put a sticker over the embossed initials on her key holder.
I bought a cheap six key holder off of eBay to see if I would like it. So far I do but it keeps getting shut in the door because it's so big.
I saw something with initials on eBay and thought I might bid on it because the initials were the same as my son. Is there a special person with those initials? That way when you see them, you think of that special person.

Can you share what kind of dye you used?
Thanks.

Thanks.

Fiebing in Light Blue used the prep first...
The black was suppose to be that blue, the wallet was my first and I made the mistake of letting it dry after I put the dye on and did a few layers like that. With the blue one I quickly put it on and then wiped it off with a plain paper towel and then with nail polish remover non acetone.

Hello everyone! I just received a preloved monogram pochette and on the inside appears to be a small spot that looks/feels like some sort of glue. What is the best/safest way to attempt to remove this please? Also, the tab seems to be starting to come apart at the top of it where it attaches to the zipper pull. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

I would try Googone on the glue spot.

You can reattach the leather tab with some yellow thread and leather needles.
Good luck.

This is awesome! I just order my little preloved girl. She is definitely going to need some love on those dark handles and the zipper came off track but I can fix a zipper in my sleep.

Hi,

I hope I am in the right place as this is my first post.
I want to purchase a speedy 40 bag and I think I can get it at a good price. The only flaw is that the zipper will need replacing. I want to use the bag for personal use and I am thinking about sending to a reputable luxury shop for the repair. I will see if I can post a picture of the zipper.
The bag is pre 80's with an eclair zipper. I don't know if the repair will send my cost sky high and if I should even bother with this. Anyone repair a zipper on a Speedy 40?
