Hi. So I found a speedy cube at a consignment shop in my home town, which I don't live in anymore (owner posted photos on FB to advertise). I didn't get a chance to make sure the bag was perfect before purchasing it because I don't live in the town anymore. I had the owner take what I thought were sufficient pics to show the condition of the bag; however, when sent to me, I noticed that the piping was torn and coming through all four ends and the gold hardware was detached from the bag. Needless to say, I was very upset but sucked it up and took it to LV for the repair. After LV sent it off they quoted $630 to replace all the piping and lining of the bag (which they said they had to replace the lining in order to do the piping) and attach the gold handles back to the bag. Well LV took so long with the repairs because they were waiting on the ordered the parts, that they comped the repair work and I was able to get my bag fixed without having to pay for it. So I was ecstatic! I only paid $750 for a speedy cube 30 and it is now in perfect condition now.:D

Hi I'm waiting for my first Louis that I just ordered of Ebay. It is in pretty bad nick and will need lots off repairing but I am SO chuffed. Its a Vintage Keepall Louis Vuitton 55 Bandoulière. As im not very rich and can only do the minimum I would like your help to find the best way to go about this. I also am looking for a schoulderstrap , would anyone know where to get a worn, vintage , schoulderstrap from? I have had a recommendation for a dry cleaner/resorer in Wigan UK. Does anyone know if they are good/well priced? Thanks a lot

I have a question. I have a neverfull and had my initials done by lv put on one of the handle pieces that attaches to the bag. If I were to sell the bag could someone have the handle with the initial taken off and replaced?
