Great job! :smile1:

Here are the AFTER photos. I used the magic eraser on the water marks first. Then protected & conditioned with LMB's LV kit. The vachetta is slightly darker now but the color is even and the stains are almost unnoticeable. I used a damp but very ringed out magic eraser and really went at it. Not very hard pressure but definitely went over the area for several minutes. Once the area dried, I assessed the stain and repeated the process until I was satisfied with the result. Then I used LMB's vachetta protection and vachetta conditioner creams. Now I can wear her again and show her off.

This is the after :D

It's a little dry but I just conditioned it with meltonian leather lotion so we'll see how it turns out. So far, I'm pleased.

(sorry for the sideways pics, my mac has a mind of it's own)

Hi rescuing ladies!
I got a LV Danube Crossbody bag from my mom and the strap is almost broken off :(
The leather part that attach the strap to the bag is ripped and only 1mm of leather holds it together.. I was wondering what is the best way to fix it? Go to the LV store and ask them? Bring it to a leather worker?
Let me know what you think!

LV bag repair has become extremely and ridiculously expensive. You could certainly go for an estimate, but be ready......

For a vintage bag, I'd take it to a reputable leather shop and have them replace the piece, or whatever they'd suggest.

Thanks for the tip!!

I've been thinking of taking it to LV to have the handles, tabs and piping replaced but it's le so I assume it would cost me an arm and a leg. Please advise, ladies....Thanks!

Does LMB LV kit really works wonders???

I would definitely try DIY on the handles before getting them replaced. I really like LMB's products and make sure to use a magic eraser. The ME does wonder for removing dirt. Good luck!

Hey Guys,

I need some help.
Christmas is almost here ad I want to thank my mother with a little LoVe, to be exact. She has a speedy 30 (ca 20 y/o) because it has such a emotional value i dont want to buy a new one, I'd like to renew her old one and get all the leather replaced... Do you know the costs or should I just get her a new one???

Here's my story: After searching for a Graffiti Speedy for two years, I was unable to find one in my price range in the condition I desired. So I looked into vachetta replacement and decided that was the way to revitalize a well loved bag. After finding him on eBay, I dropped him off at my boutique. Three weeks later, he was back and stunning. Here are the before and after pics.
Hopefully this Graffiti Speedy's story can inspire others to breath some life back into a forgotten LV.

I just love what you did with the bag! :-) Would you mind telling me how much it cost? I'd like to replace all the leather on my mothers old speedy and make it her Christmas gift... :-)
