Hi! I won this speedy from an eBay auction (Japan seller) and honestly didn't zoom in enough to see this particular photo [emoji20] Do these white marks look like canvas peeling? Help! Haven't paid yet but since I won already looks like I have no choice.

If peeling, is it something that can be repaired?

Thanks in advance [emoji173]️View attachment 4196003
Yes that is canvas peeling! When I bought my delightful a few years back mine started peeling like that, had to exchange and the exchange started peeling too! Ended up returning for a neverfull! Ask the seller to cancel?

Oh dear :(thanks for the reply. I will message the seller now and hopefully allow to cancel since it is not yet paid for. I don't want to be stuck with a peeling canvas. Should have zoomed in that photo [emoji24]

Hi all..!
I just did my first DIY rescue of my LV vintage bag. [emoji16]

Saw this lovely green epi LV Jeune Fille MM size for sale by a Japanese reseller and bought it even though the pockets were sticky and rated junk.

I followed a previous post on purseforum on using fabric stickers on the sticky pockets and it works! Now the large pocket is usable and I’m so happy!

Here’s a pic of the bag and the outside large pocket lined with the fabric stickers. The outside pocket is very useful for putting my phone in and I’m glad that it’s now usable!

The bag is beautiful, and the fabric you chose is perfect! May I ask where or what brand the fabric stickers are? I searched the forum, and couldn’t find anything. Congratulations on finding such a pretty bag!

Sorry! The iPad app is misbehaving, and I’m not able to quote.

The zipper on my OM pochette broke

Surprisingly it’s not the zipper tab itself that broke off. It’s the part where the zipper holds the tab that broke. The zipper itself still works but it’s now missing the part that anchors the LV zipper pull tab. Hubby said the zipper itself is likely not repairable and will likely need a zipper replacement. Does LV do that? Slight problem is that there is a little crack on the canvas and I was told LV won’t touch anything that has a damaged canvas.

What can I do about this? I love this bag so much and had been carrying it so much over the last few years (as it was new to me in 2015 and was made around 2001)

Hi! I purchased the fabric tape from Japanese Daiso store. It’s about $2 and I used 2 rows. It’s much easier than expected. I would think you can find similar fabric tapes from a local craft store.

Here’s a photo of the fabric tape.

Hope this helps.

I'd still see if LV will replace the zipper. If they say No, then I'd take it to your local tailor/cobbler that does shoe and handbag repairs. They can easily replace the zipper for you

Yes that may be the next step, if LV cannot fix it for me. Thank you I will reply here on what LV has to say so anyone having the same issue will know what to do.

Hi, I bought a preloved LV Noe nomade
Is there a way for me to blend in some dark spots in the leather?
Please see the attached image; I circled the dark spots
Thank you.
