Hi everyone! I got my very first LV last month— she’s vintage and I bought her off of Poshmark. She is a mono Speedy from 1983 ( I turn 30 this year so I wanted a bag from the decade I was born in). She needs a new zipper, zipper pull & keyhole tab. Any ideas on how much this might possibly run? I love the patina— the honey color just warms my heart lol

For those in the Rescue Club who’ve removed Vuittonite, have you had issues with the cotton interior piling? I removed the Vuittonite from my toilette 19 with Simple Green and a toothbrush but now tiny dust like pieces of the brown cloth interior are getting on anything I place inside....

You may not have completed the removal process. For me there were two steps - peeling or rubbing the tacky stuff off, underneath that was the powdery fibres/dust. I then cleaned the whole thing with acetone after which there is just soft cotton left.
ETA I also use a bag liner/organiser so my stuff is not directly touching the lining anymore, but there is no dust/fibres coming off the lining itself.

Bought an odeon mm which is 9yrs old. Had uneven vachetta and marker ink on canvas. Used magic eraser, wet sock method and meltonian cleanser on vachetta and alcohol rub on canvas to lighten the marker ink.

Hello,
I've found a vintage speedy that I'd like to rehab - the vachetta is an acceptable colour to me, there is no cracking of the canvas plus it comes with the lock and key. I really like this bag!

However I'm not sure about the rip by the zipper as seen in the picture below. Is this possible to repair, and if so how would you suggest going about it?
