Hi! Post some photos of it so I know what needs fixing. Although I dont know what to recommend for the linning; most of the ones I restore just needed some wiping with sanitizong cloths/wipes.

The Sonax wasn’t worth the price. Maybe it’s the pink color but it was not coming out as expected it did clean it but for the 30 dollar price of the cleaner I wanted it to look very good. I may try one of the online cleaning concoctions Ive seen on you tube. I really dislike the open hobo concept as the alcantara is visible and exposed. I have a bit of buyers remorse IMG_1527773251.460096.jpg

Looks fabulous on the picture! If I were you, I'd just enjoy the bag or try to resell. It's a pity to leave it unloved.

Thanks I added it to eBay. I wish I purchased the duomo hobo. Oh well! If it doesn’t sell I may take it somewhere to have a magnetic button added on the inside to keep it shut. I feel like now that I see the melie I can see the evolution of the design as the melie folds over on itself to shut

Totally crazy question, but my mom gave me a pochette accesories she wasn’t using and decided she didn’t like. I’m wondering if anyone knows how to get smells out of a LV? It smells like spicy big red gum. Hahaha!! It was her catch all in her big bags I guess. I’m wondering if the smell will rub off onto the LV SLG’s that I put inside (which I don’t want). Thanks in advance!!

What I did was to turn my Speedy inside out and put it in the sun. [emoji28]

hi guys! this thread is amazing, i love seeing old bags turning into new "right off the boutique" like bags.
i'm looking for a vintage LV montsouris and i recently found one for a good price but it has a big stain at the bottom, so i was wondering if there's an easy way to get rid of it before i make any purchase.
thanks in advance

Did you get your bag back yet? I can’t wait to see the result. I just bought one and can’t wait for it to arrive. It seems like a great, practical bag.
Not yet, I actually called my SA the other day she informed me that it was taken a little longer due to the factory waiting on parts. She said, it should be here next week. I will post pictures. And yes, I think its a very practical everyday bag : )
