Ok course, it was $715.00. I had all vachetta and hardware replaced and new drawstring.
I would say, take it to LV. You know their craftsmanship on repairs firsthand. Don’t worry about the rude SA, I know it can be annoying but its their job and since repairing bags is a service that LV offers to its customers why not use it : ) Just my opinionHello, new to this forum but I am working on my second LV rescue (Cabas Mezzo)! I was reading through some of the older posts regarding vachetta cleaning. I am scared to death really to do anything to the leather that is not per LV, but I am not close to a store and don't want to fully replace. Possible strap replacement because they are pretty beat up, one strap is stretched more than the other (uneven carry) and I have concerns that they are going to pull away from the canvas. I had the lining of a Bucket GM replaced by LV last year and they did a lovely job ($150) but the sales associate really raised her nose at my vintage bag (rude). So I am a little hesitant to go back for that reason. Is it horrible to have a repair done by someone other than LV? Also someone posted about a magic eraser, is that just to remove dirt? Any thoughts are welcome!
I had the same issue with my Sac Plat. The Rustoleum worked well for me, but I wanted extra protection so I bought an organizer from Amazon that fits perfectly in the Sac Plat. Problem solved. I think the organizer is made by Vercord (long felt organizer).Helllo all!
I love my sac plat so much but she’s pretty old & used on the inside. I used Rustoleom to cover the peeled lining (very little peeling just sticky) hoping it would conceal it. If work great however the paint rubs off my stuff whenever I used the bagis there any type of leather paint top coat you guys can recommend me? Any help would be great here’s a few pictures.

One can also order custom sized organizers from Samorga. Kinda pricey though and they can take a long time to ship.I had the same issue with my Sac Plat. Did you try Leatherprince on Etsy. I replaced mine 2 yrs ago and the drawstring from LV was $60. Right after that I found Leatherprince and he was $30 at the time. I also got a slider which makes the Noe an even better bag.I have a Noe in recovery
Other than LV, where else can you purchase a vachetta drawstring for a Noe?
Mcraft is my 1st option, but at $42, I'm willing to entertain other options. lol

You can email him and he will oblige. He does excellent work.I checked that shop on Etsy but it’s only cutesy handcrafted leather animals and keychains. No plain leather pieces or accessories....
