Oh that green is amazing! I can’t wait to see it! Congratulations on so many pretty jade pieces for your collection.
Thank you! I will post pictures when I receive the pieces. Should be here before end of this week. Hopefully it’s sunny outside but it’s pretty gloomy with rain these days. There will be many pictures in the coming days so please pardon all my posting! I enjoy this forum a lot.

That green you purchased just takes my breath away. It is so fresh apple green. Just lovely! I am very excited for you. I also enjoy this thread so much. I often start at the beginning and scroll and scroll to enjoy so many different pieces. I am always intrigued at how many incarnations jadeite and nephrite have.

I have been watching that green piece for as long as I’ve found UJ in the past few months. I was hesitant about another green bangle but this type of green all the way around isn’t seen very often (at least by me). I decided to sell Sachi so that is in the works. Sachi is just too big for me.
I learn so much from this forum!

I agree, the green in your new bangle is unusual and quite bright. A lucky find for you! I know Nandar does not "play" with her photos so I hope you post scads of pictures on here. I went to see if she has any sisters and looks like Nandar is closed for a bit - probably traveling to purchase more jade.
Is a black bangle lucky? I learn so much here.

I can see why you would find a new home for Sachi if she does not fit closely enough for comfort. She is very pretty and I am sure someone will be very happy to have her.

There is one other apple green one that is close to this bangle colour but not green all the way around. I cannot link it now because her shop is closed. I tried to search for sister bangles from this stone as well and I came up with nothing. I was curious to see what the sisters looked like, if any.
Nandar told me she is away on a business trip and returning Jan 20 (Jan 19 for those in North America).

Yes, apparently black bangles are good for luck! I’m very glad Nandar doesn’t doctor her photos and is very honest in her dealings. I wouldn’t be buying from her otherwise. Unfortunately, not all sellers are like her.

Quick update on EastWind Jade. To date, I haven’t heard back from the seller, Sai. I’ve opened a case on PayPal since this seller does not have Etsy payment protection. Here are pictures of the listing and what I received. I cannot recommend this store to anyone due to dishonest dealings and no reply. I will be notifying Etsy as well because I do not want other people to have to go through this and not everyone can afford the trouble of filing these cases. Apparently, this kind of misrepresentation complaint isn’t the first for this seller but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Lesson learned and I’m glad they were not super high ticket items.

Finally I received a reply from EastWind Jade. The shopkeeper Sai said he will reimburse me for the return shipping costs, so I’m relieved for that. It wasn’t so much about the money but completely about the principle.

I’m already thinking of names for the new pieces.
@moneymeister I think I will name the apple green bangle Spring. Now we each have a season, lol.

For the lavender one, I am thinking of naming her Lila. She looks like a soft purple and she’s also half yellow-green with black spotting. I’ve got the best of several worlds on this bangle! I have heard that half purple half green bangles are referred to as “spring” bangles but I can’t find anything online to read further.

For the Siberian white nephrite, I am thinking naming it either Marshmallow or S’mores, due to the very chubby princess cut. S’mores might be a bit more fitting because of the brown colouring.

Would love to hear your input!

I think spring is a great name, it is very fresh green. Lila is also a great name. I think her color is very pretty and delicate - the name is fitting. Also a good choice on S'more!

I love how your collection is growing.
