OMG same! It's why I don't wear cotton candy as much. I've debated getting it polished, but I worry my bangle will get lost in the mail.
I wouldn’t get Cotton Candy polished. She’s so beautiful the way she is! Did the seller say the stone lines affect the integrity of the bangle? Fine texture is desired of course but I think medium texture is acceptable too. It doesn’t necessarily mean it will break easier, but you can definitely see the difference. Skye is half fine texture (where the blue indigo colouring is the most) and half medium texture, where it’s more sugary.

Hmm, I don't think I've noticed any scratches on my nephrite ones I've worn for years. I also prize texture. I need a consistent polish, one of my bangles has a patch they couldn't polish as well, and I don't like feeling it when I wear it, so I don't wear it much.
After seeing the different textures, I would of course prefer fine texture. Generally I go for translucency than colour. I don’t know if more translucent bangles are naturally finer textured.

Or maybe finally we are getting to know what putting on a properly sized jade bangle is supposed to feel like. According to some sites, I should be wearing 57-58mm or more! Those bangles would fall right off my hand. My proper size should be 53mm and the largest I’ll go is 55.15mm (I will have 2 bangles in this size, Skye is this size too).
I’m sure I could fit into a 50mm round because I have a thin silicone gold spacer that fits without too much of a struggle and bending. Just depends how much I want to go through when I’m swapping I guess. I never thought I would swap. I always thought I would have one permanent (maybe 2, one on each wrist) bangle but HAHAHAHAH. That’s not happening.
I've gotten used to squishing my thumb joints in at different times to fit.
Where's your thin silicone gold spacer from? Do you have any pics? I've been trying to get some, but the ones I got on amazon are too huge for me

I found ones that look like gold but they’re Buddhist rush bracelets. There is a metal (from the sounds of the light clinking) but where the engraving is but I’m very happy with them. I bought a few.

The smallest ones they have are 50mm and those fit well too.

Thank you!

My hand is much bigger then my wrist and isn't nimble. I bought a bracelet in my actual size and got it on after losing weight. Wore it for months and it started feeling hot and wrong. Wanted it off and nothing worked, so I had to destroy it to get it off.

Does this ever happen to anyone? I have 5 bracelets that I wear individually and then eventually swap out. At some point, they just don't feel right.

I loved the look of the smaller bangle but don't want yo destroy another beautiful piece of jade.

My hand is quite bigger than my wrist too. Unfortunately, the bangle will be loose on your wrist in order to get it over your knuckles and hand. You have to figure out the smallest size you are comfortable with if you want to take it on and off and also, you may be less tolerant to pain when you get older and bones get more rigid. You can put on a lovely sandalwood beaded spacer to keep the bangle a bit higher up on your arm.
I have taken 2 pictures to show the part where I had a bit of trouble getting S’more on. It left a small bruise from taking on and off twice last night until I decided she should just stay on my left permanently because I don’t want to deal with the pain every time I swap her out and also, I would like a different jadeite on my right hand.
