I've got Jade fever and I've got it bad. However, my wallet doesn't. So in the interest of saving my money, I dredged up all my bangles, (nephrite and jadeite) to try to make my brain understand that I HAVE ENOUGH. Help me decide which new bangle I should wear for the beginning of 2023.

These are all my bangles.

1) Ivy: It's been on my wrist since October. Oval jadeite bangle, sized 49. Probably the one that fits me the best. Loves Target lighting, but my wrist wants a change.

2) Yin Yang: My only jadeite carved bangle, and it's a size 52. A little bigger than normal but still fits well. I love how it goes from light to dark. I never wore this one for an extended period of time. It's a little big to wear comfortably every day though...

3) Matcha: A thin jadeite princess cut bangle, size 51. One of my favorites! I've easily worn this one for months on end. I'm very daring with this bangle. It's been bumped, hit, dropped, and still perfect. Very comfortable to wear, and doesn't leave lines when I sleep, so that's a plus.

4) Legolas. 51.5 Jadeite bangle. Up close it doesn't look like much, but it is so icy in the sunlight. True elven royalty lol. I would wear this one more often if I were not so paranoid with it. It has AMAZING texture. The best texture in my entire collection, alongside Ivy, and I just don't want to ruin that. I probably baby this one the most. It's not as comfortable as my 49 mm one though...

5) Cotton Candy: a 51mm jadeite bangle. This is the first jadeite bangle I ever bought. However, the texture isn't the greatest, and gives me paranoia when I wear it. It is surprisingly comfortable to wear though. It's not a regular D shade, as it's a little convex on the inside, meaning it doesn't squish my arms and cut off their blood supply when its pushed all the way back. Wish I had more with this cut, it's so comfy...

6) Fern: IDK what size, a jadeite bangle. It looks gray here but in real life it is super green. I would wear this one far more if it weren't for the stone inclusions. Does anyone else have a bangle like this one with stone inclusions? Does anyone know how durable they are? They aren't noticeable when wearing, I'm just scared they won't hold up to day to day life. It was 25 dollars from Matsalicejade, for the inclusions. I don't regret my purchase at all, the jade is gorgeous.

7) Weiss: 50 mm jadeite bangle. Probably my worst quality bangle. Has a lot of wax, stone pits, and the cut isn't completely round. It seems like this was someone's practice bangle? lol, it terms of polishing it. I knew it wasn't going to be the best though, as it was very cheap. I wear Weiss when I'm doing sports or going to the beach (wanted to see if sand would scratch my bangle, it did not) It's sorta like the sacrificial lamb of my collection. If I am going to be doing something very physical, Weiss is my go to. However, I have grown very fond of Weiss, as despite my best efforts, it remains in perfect condition. It's taught me Jadeite is very tough, lol.

8) Blizzard: Almost named it soap. a 53 mm Nephrite bangle. It's my mom's favorite. Whenever she wants to wear a bracelet, she steals blizzard. It's a very comfortable fit, as the edges are convex like cotton candy. It is very chunky. I don't wear this one as often as it's a little big for me. It would not slip off, but it would bang on things all the time.

10) Blue Steel: 50.2 mm Nephrite bangle. It is a princess cut. Very strange colored nephrite. I had to have it. In some lighting It looks purple, in others it looks blue, in others it looks white. It shows a range of colors. Very lightweight and comfortable. Haven't worn very often just because I worry more for nephrite than jadeite.

11) Cookies n' Cream: 50/51 mm nephrite bangle. Probably the best quality nephrite bangle I own. It is such nice white, with some black specks all over the bangle. They are not noticeable unless the bangle is in direct sunlight. It is very comfortable, but does leave a lot of lines on my arm. I wore it very often before Ivy and Matcha.

12) Cosmo: A 52 mm Xiu Yan bangle. This is neither a jadeite or nephrite bangle. From what I've been able to find out, this bangle is a mix of serpentine and nephrite. It is much weaker than nephrite or jadeite, but I still wear it sometimes, There's just something so enchanting about this green. The cut is also convex on the inside, so it is very comfortable. This was meant to be a cheap one use bangle to figure out my size, but I was never able to part with it. I quite simply love this bangle, despite it not being jadeite or nephrite.
Wheeeew. That's my entire collection. If anyone wants to do this too, it would be awesome. I love seeing pictures of everyone's collection. I still don't know which one I will wear.
