Whoa Jade4me!!! How beautiful!!!!!! And a gift?!? That makes her all the more beautiful! Is love to see the difference in color between all of your nephrite jade bangles!

I agree with you about the depth of color in that oil blue green pixiu. That color is deeply haunting and evocative!

morning jadies!

I can hear a cardinal singing his heart out in the morning darkness. lol

Skull ring, anyone?

It would make a neat day of the dead or halloween ring. Can't tell from the pics if it's really jade though, and I wouldn't wear it now... but i might've to be "edgy" in my teens.

hope everyone's monday goes well.

Molly, your NZ jade twist will look lovely and elegant paired with gold! Your faceted black bangle looks very classy and is a good imposter of jade - if no one asks, no need to tell! :p

Thanks Jade4! I'm very happy with my black faceted bangle being just what it is & don't feel it is an imposter at all. I have quite a few various pieces of black onyx that I love to wear. She is a welcome addition. I even got out my vintage Hawaiian black coral ring and they look smashing together!:smile1:
Zelena looks lovely! Love the width of her!

You're right Molly about appreciating your black faceted bangle for what it is, and solid black goes with everything! :graucho:

Thank you Claire, Molly, Uli and crosso on Zelena! Taken by a window in bright sunlight, left to right is Kiri, Zelena, & Sabrina. :smile1:

Beadmania continues! - exchanged the pixui ring that did not work out for this onyx and black jade carved focal bead necklace. Does anyone know how to go about shortening a knotted bead naecklace without completely restringing?
And just for fun two vintage Murano millefiori necklaces with jadeite bangles😊

You can try something like this. If you don't mind a knot that's bigger, tie a knot onto the knot before the 2nd to last bead, string the 2nd to last bead on the new thread, leave room for a knot, string last bead, attach clasp, go back through last bead, knot between last bead & 2nd to last bead, glue both knots. Hope it makes sense!
