Jade4me, it's beautiful! Love your chubby princess, Daisy!

Crosso, forgot to congratulate you on your black beads! Love the carved center. Indeed, this captures that mix between pendant and beads so nicely. I can't imagine how to make it shorter without re stringing, but learning how to do those knots is easy and fool proof.

With a little bit of help from Crosso I was able to buy a carved bead necklace to wear with my bangle and quartz carved bracelet.

I don't know anything about the type of jade or the colors- but I know that I love my bangle and my new necklace

Thanks, Claire! I'm finding now that I prefer shorter beads,16"-18", though I'm happy to have a longer set or two. For this one, it just doesn't feel right for the focal bead to sit so low on the décolletage. I did find bead shortener clasps online that basically pinch the two sides together wherever you attach it, but of course this is only a good solution if you are wearing a collared top.

Zooba, I love it! So cool - the shades of colors, the links with the beads, the carving! It is a really unique and beautiful necklace and looks great with your bangle and bracelet. Well done!

Thank you Claire and crosso on my chubby grey princess I call Dusk - yes she's a new one, too!

crosso, try the shortening method I mentioned in a previous post and if it doesn't work out to your liking, restringing & re-knotting is not too bad.

I love your new necklace! It's so unique and goes perfectly with your bangle and beaded bracelet!

Zooba, your new necklace is great! You'll never be bored with that piece. I personally adore the carved links! It makes a great match with your bangle too!

Jade4me, oh, that princess you showed is new!?!it must be fantastic with Daisy! Congratulations!

Totally agree Crosso. This is how I feel too, especially about where the bead should sit. I say high up or low on a long necklace, but not in the middle.

Hi ladies

This thread is really nice and I'm starting to now think of a really simple pair of jade earrings. Which one of the following is nice? Or would you ladies have recommendations of where I could go online to get a pair of simple studs (doesn't have to be round like the pictures below..)

Thanks for your help!

Hi all....hoping to get some help and I apologize if its already been mentioned but this is a long thread lol I have a jade link bracelet that I have found myself wearing more often lately and wanted to add a bangle to my wardrobe, but I don't understand how to go about sizing one.

On ebay I'm seeing mm sizing of the inner diameter which doesn't help me a lot as I can measure my wrist, but it still needs to fit over my hand. I want one that isn't too loose on my wrist as I hate the feeling of bracelets that fall down onto my hand. Any tips on how to go about measuring properly and determining the proper size to fit my wrist how I want it, but also get it over my hand? I normally wear a 6" link bracelet, although I can also go a bit smaller for a snugger fit.

Also, any tips on what to look for/ avoid when shopping on eBay or etsy for a bangle? I see all different price points. Thanks for any help! I'll come back to post pics of my jade link bracelet as well once I get home.
