This was discounted as one section is narrower by 0.5 mm and stated as such by UJ. $80+ with no additional discounts. I'm hoping to find a reddish-yellow-honey one for fall (in my price range). Any recommended sellers in SF? I'll be visiting next month. I'm looking forward to browsing around at Lang's and Gumps but the merchandise is over my budget.
Fits is a little bigger than I thought it....I went 3mm more than my first one. But it all works out I just switched it to my right hand... it fits perfectly and no bruising when I try to take it off.
Baghera, you can visit Anne's in San Jose. Another jade sister recommended it to me months ago who has bought from them. In addition, this is the shop that my husband bought my yellow Sonoma bangle from. It's in a mall, which has other jade sellers there too. I believe that AJ bought her Silkie from a neighboring store. Definitely less expensive then Gumps! AND, you must try to make it to Lang's! A big plus is that it is right in the center of town, near Union Square and very close to all the cool shops and China Town. There are other stores in Oakland and such...it all depends on how mobile you are.
Congrats on the new bangle! It looks much more expensive then what you paid, and most importantly, looks GREAT on you! Have you thought of a name?

GS, wow, your coming dark green is Beautiful! I am captivated! Feels like a slice of the soul of the earth to me. AND, I'm in love with your carved nephrite. Such simple, clean lines and forms. Strikes a great balance between complexity and simplicity, volume and airy-ness. Great finds!

I will upload some pictures soon...I've been falling in love with the new oval today. I had the strangest sensation that it should be next to Big Blue for energy, almost as if it were lonely. I've never felt that before with any jade. It seems like a deeply old piece to me somehow, also a slice of spirit.
I took the day off from work today, so I think I'll go down to the jeweler and start talking about the hinge!

Took my seller's advice to collect 1 Hetian pendant and bangle. I have asked her to keep one Hetian bangle for me end of this year.
I feel like a jade hunter sometimes. Eeeekkk...
Ok ladies, here is the oval....as an added plus, it really goes well with my tourmaline necklace.
