I have recently seen this format on IG, apparently it was released as a special edition in 1995:

Not sure about this one at all. Looks like something you should get as a freebie with a perfume purchase.
Not thrilled yet by much I have seen but I have come to realise that, for my tastes at least, one season's feast is always followed by another of famine. The only thing that tickles my fancy is Clair de Lune. Quite intrigued by that but wondering how much less fabric there will be in a 140 diameter circle as opposed to the normal 140 square ( sorry, maths are not my strong point). If only it glowed in the dark!
The solid colour blocking that seems prevalent isn't really my thing and I would worry about how they would look tied. I love scarves with a lot of fine detail and visual depth. I can buy colour-blocked scarves at the supermarket!
At least it means I can still hanker after those on this season's list that I haven't acquired yet.
Thank you so much to Angelian and all who have offered intel. For those who didn't like this season, I hope this forthcoming one offers you all sorts of riches!

I think the Zebra Pegasus is going to be a 20cm as well  Look at its size compared the watches next to it, and the red BdG hanging above it. Plus, it's only a few years ago that the ZP in 45cm was available. Can't wait to see!

Just a thought. Being smaller it will be cheaper therefore more easily available as an entry-point purchase to lure in much younger / H-curious customers?
Re the round scarf, I would imagine you fold it in half to get two corners. I'm trying to also visualise how it would look on a bias fold.

i am interested in that, too and anxiously waiting for the price tags we have to deal with...

I just liked the standard twill where the scarf was saturated on both sides. I haven’t even been collecting very long, but have been turned off recently because a lot of prints look blank on the back now. I hope the new double-sides aren’t outrageously priced. :(

4,202 cm sq less according to google  which makes the circle scarf about 20% smaller than the 140cm square, but who knows if the price will be proportionally less... (I would assume not given how special the format is)
I wonder if a hand-rolled hem is trickier to do on a round border... this could justify a higher price despite the circonference of a 140 cm circle is smaller than the perimeter of a 140 cm square.

I have to imagine it will be cut out of a square piece anyway, since it would be very hard to weave a round piece of fabric. In that case, they are starting with the same amount of fabric as a regular silk 140, so I have to imagine it will be at least the same cost. Add to that the fact that it is a special design and probably harder to hem, and I anticipate it to be more expensive than a regular 140.

Have you tried the summer twill 140s? Those look a lot more saturated on the reverse side because the silk is thinner.

It does make me wonder if the round scarf will be made on thinner fabric as well...
