I imagine the cost will also reflect the need to create a unique box to house the unique way a round scarf is folded.

I agree....I just think the graphics on that round scarf are incredibly beautiful, leaving aside that it’s a scarf....I would love to know who the artist is, it has a real Renaissance feel to it like a Da Vinci or a Michelangelo etching...that’s one I’d frame and hang on a wall.....

As much as I really want the ClaF in 90cm.. It'll be difficult for me to justify if the price is significantly more than standard 90cm silk. Not trying to turn this into a pricing debate, but still...
Feels like yesterday:
Round scarves can be easily folded into squares, so they might not need a special box. When they did the heart-shaped boxes, I was told some customers gave up re-folding and just kept the scarf separate from the novelty box.

I'm really hopeful that my wallet is safe... so far nothing sings to me. I find Alice shirley's designs have become a bit more like portraits of animals and less like worlds (such as in under the waves, canadian wild or jardin anglais - the latter 2 are still elusive to me). I prefer her "world" designs - even though I have to admit the animals are always super cute.
I also find that for the theme "innovation" they are very un-innovative on their colorways. The blue-red again? it's great for those of you that love that high contrast colorway but for me it doesn't work at all.
finally on formats. I'm not innovative enough for a round scarf and I am very fearful of the pricepoints of the double-sided ones.
but of course I hope that everyone else finds treasures that make your hearts sing, i just think by what i've seen it'll be a light one for me..

According to my SA earlier than usual in the UK. Mentioning before Christmas.

I think you are in Germany(?) so it could be earlier for you too. As I said, this news raised my cynical eyebrow so he may have been wrong, but he is also one of the very clued-up members of the NBS team.
Nothing in Canada either (I'm in Toronto), dropped by yesterday and my SA didn't even have any idea what was coming for S/S 20
My Manchester SA was very definite - no SS20 scarves on sale until New Year's Day but he also seemed to think that there would be a few available by then when often there is the tiniest dribble of stock for months before the season gets going.
Anyone hear anything about Mousselines? Hope they bring back printed moussies
For what its worth I was told January (I'm also in Toronto). But who knows? I wouldn't be surprised if a few come in around Christmas.
