Actually a 140cm diameter circle would have to be cut from a 140cm rectangle, so the same amount of fabric is required , but the lack of corners means a little less weightNot sure about this one at all. Looks like something you should get as a freebie with a perfume purchase.
Not thrilled yet by much I have seen but I have come to realise that, for my tastes at least, one season's feast is always followed by another of famine. The only thing that tickles my fancy is Clair de Lune. Quite intrigued by that but wondering how much less fabric there will be in a 140 diameter circle as opposed to the normal 140 square ( sorry, maths are not my strong point). If only it glowed in the dark!
The solid colour blocking that seems prevalent isn't really my thing and I would worry about how they would look tied. I love scarves with a lot of fine detail and visual depth. I can buy colour-blocked scarves at the supermarket!
At least it means I can still hanker after those on this season's list that I haven't acquired yet.
Thank you so much to Angelian and all who have offered intel. For those who didn't like this season, I hope this forthcoming one offers you all sorts of riches!
same!I think I have my wishlist now. The Alice Shirley Giraffe in a CSGM and Cavalcadour Voltiguer 90cm. 2020, I'm ready and waiting semi-patiently.![]()
Ooh, I'm glad to see more Savana Dance!
Yay to Naissance, it's on my wish list but never found a CW that suits.Happy to see "Naissance" return, and that nicer Cavalleria Favolosa! Hope there are some more subtle CWs.
Awww, it's so tiny! Cute!I have recently seen this format on IG, apparently it was released as a special edition in 1995:

I understand completely as I made a full length circular evening skirt a few years ago and the hem took FOREVER!!! I am quite intrigued to see this.Actually a 140cm diameter circle would have to be cut from a 140cm rectangle, so the same amount of fabric is required , but the lack of corners means a little less weight
Hmmm wonder how they hem a circle ? Seems real hard to do by hand or even machine , laser cut ?
If you have ever hemmed a circular skirt it is much harder than a pencil skirt since the fabric has to be gathered a bit, for lack of clearer words
Nice digital print, very niceSome closeups of the Cavalcadour Voltigeur from the press release. Amazing details
