Frou Frou, I mentioned that colour way #06 was cool on me , as compared to CW #5—I think because the blues in #06 have a slight trend into violet tones and with the white and grey give a very cool effect, whereas the #05 has a range of blues between a straight-down-the-middle royal blue, through a cooler tone, to a robin’s egg blue in the straight framing parts of the design. That, and the salmon coral, is more forgiving to my pale skin. But I LOVE #06, and would have loved to grab one, as I think it is stunning scarf, and I love more monochromatic CWs in this design. Also I think it’s a beautiful accessory for summer whites, among other things. But you can’t argue with your eyes and gut. I put on #5 and went “yeah!”, then #06, and thought “okay.....”, then put on #10 and went “ Wow!” So I left with #05, and then ordered #10 online as it was gone from my boutique when I called back. I’m waiting and it’s due tomorrow (Wednesday)—will post mod shots when it comes. But if I was wrong, back it goes, and I’m going to revisit #06....Light is so important when deciding, and the boutique where I shop is decidedly “cool” and faintly gloomy. And photos I keep seeing here of #06 really look wonderful! But I can’t buy three! I have to exercise some restraint, after all...Colour me freakishly indecisive!
P.S. Also love the #07 colorway. Because, well, hot pink. What’s not to love? It appeals to the other shard of my fragmented personality. Sigh....

Now I can't wait to see this cw10 Katriona! It does promise to be a beautiful piece, hope we get some more sightings soon.
Blue is a strange colour , being blue eyed I wore loads of different blues as I assumed it was a good colour for me , it was only when I started buying Hermès scarves that I realised how wrong I was. I found my skin glowed in warm tones like orange and red , but blue seemed draining.
I think ten years later my skin tone is different , my hair is lighter and blue is less of a problem.
Hermès cobalt is a good one but quite a lot of their blues are tricky .
I think 05 is a beautifully illuminating colour way, I hope you'll love wearing it .
When 10 arrives please show us!

Love how you've tied this, and love how the colors look on you!

I agree with you, in your photo, it looks neutral-to-warm and oh-so-flattering, and I notice its soft taupe and peach shadings so much more. On me it looks quite cool and the bright blue and the icy silvers jump out, which happen to be what suits me best. Must be one of those magical colorways that morphs to flatter a wide spectrum of undertones.

Thank you , I can't get over how the design details pop in the greys .
I'll be reaching for this a lot I think , it's an easy one to fling on and go .

We've seen it before, I bought Samurai 06 on Saturday and here it is with what I wore today : jeans, white shirt, navy jumper and suede boots .
I can't see this as a cool colour way myself , it seems soft and gentle. The blues are easy to wear for pale olive skin tone like myself .

Lovely :tender:

Like the JQ in the darker blues it has warm and cooler toned blues and the greys are lovely. So glad you picked it.

Did anyone else get ZEE BOOKLET ? not the stories, the color booklet, it had been MIA for a while
Interesting thing - bound with a bolduc on top - the ribbon prevents opening it up to copy , ergo, I have no pix to share, sorry
It is better because for each scarf shown there is a large pic of it worn and a close-up of a portion of the flat scarf - more detail is better, I like BUT...
The selection of scarves shown is odd. The old booklets used to try to show at least one of each design - at least in a pile of rumpled silk - now, there is no attempt to survey the collection in its entirety (or close). I cannot determine the overarching color themes (Purplish, veggie etc) of the collection from the few photos of the selected scarves. Ex, they feature the white/black/yellow Janos Ber - that could go with anything.
Spent time trying to think - what is the unifying theme behind the scarves shown ? It lacks the best designs (PdS in CSGM), the fav formats - mousse & CSGM, I dont think there was a single 140cm in there? hard to tell since the booklet is hard to read without cracking the spine.
My inner marketing persona decided this is the booklet of what they WANT to sell you - simple stuff - LOWER PRICE point items, fewer screens - 4 pages devoted to ties (as in business suit ties for women), lots of losanges, Jaguar made it barely . The cover is Jeu des Omnibus remix - 5 colors in a finesse rendition
All in all they have decided to downplay the best stuff
Again no one has to agree with me

TOTALLY agree! Was so excited to receive it, but so disappointed and unsatisfied after looking through it. Actually pulled out my booklet from last season to compare the two to see if I was expecting too much. But it is so different it’s like night and day. Don’t understand the choices they made. Wasting four pages on ties (in a scarf book for women), get real H! Only two CSGMs; Robe du Soir and, of all the beautiful designs they could pick, Palanque? Most of the pics were already shown on Instagram. Thankfully we have all the stock and lovely IRL modeling pics here, I would hardly be tempted by anything in this booklet.

I had a similar response, just opposite. The 05 is very pretty but on me it's a bit "meh", while 03 was "wow"

That's why I'm looking forward to 06, you've got a lot of neutral shades and a lot of blue shades. As a fellow blue (well, aqua)-eyed woman, it is tricky, each shade is different on me. I haven't been able to figure out what the formula is (because I don't have my natural hair color and it has to work with eyes, skin tone and hair) I just have to try each one on.

Forgive me if this is what you meant. I think they have produced 2 different style of ties actually for women this season. One is stiff and matte, the other pure silk, unlined and very floppy but could be cool. I like wearing ties and wouldn't mind one tbh.

Oh my apologies PT, didn’t know that they were especially designed for women, that makes more sense. And of course there are plenty of women that like to wear them, but why haven’t they shown up anywhere else if it is something they obviously want to promote? Is this booklet really the place to show them, while there are so many beautiful scarves that were not included?(Maybe it’s just me, I haven’t seen them online, in the boutique or here on tPF?) I don’t know, there are always different opinions of course, speaking for myself I was just disappointed that it’s not something that can be used for reference of the scarf designs produced this season, but more of a random photo album. I guess H wants to achieve something different with this new booklet that I don’t really understand.

I was shown them at the NBS London but I haven't seen them in a prominent position at that store since or out at any other H in my area.

The stiff (linen and silk mix???) is in the same fabric and colour as a new sun hat. The Della Cavalleria is the only design and comes limited to the single light golden cw. It keeps its shape very well and I can imagine wearing this for work, non-comp dressage more formally or even over a t-shirt in the Summer on a day out.

There are a couple of cws of the other type (pure silk) tie as you must have seen, and they would be much more for the same kind of person who likes wearing a twilly at the throat.

Dear Marietouchet, I am not very wise to the ways of Hermes, but I was wondering if it is a way of stymy-ing early bootlegged versions of their scarves....I can see the possibility of using the very clear photos of the new designs (as they used to be presented) as blueprints for "replica" versions on the cheap intermet market, and with the use of laser printing, flooding the market as soon as the season's new offerings started to show which one are going to be big sellers. I think it must have been harder before laser printing came out, to steal copies. Nowadays, those booklets would be a real opportunity to the counterfeit industry. Also, perhaps Hermes wants to replicate something of what the PF does, in showing their items "in action".

I have been admiring the Jaguar, from the moment I saw the lovely pictures on here. The cw blue and the brown jaguar made me fall in love instantly. So this happened [emoji12][emoji5]

LOVE IT that you have both formats! We are twins on your 90. I fell so hard for this pattern, I bought three colorways of it! I'm so excited for you!
