I had a lovely experience at Kadewe Berlin. On Saturday afternoon in Advent, in a long line, I asked for a hot stamping with the Berlin bear. A very lovely man took it even though I hadn't bought anything. Since I flew home on Monday, they sent it to me. That was a really great service. No begging and no feeling bad. If anyone from LV is reading this: thank you very much for that!

Does joburg store have a new stamp besides the lion face one? Thx
I was in store last Saturday and picked up the Emily notebook cover which I wanted hot stamped with the holiday stamp and the lion head and was informed by the CA that they don’t do any hot stamping on weekends (but he was more than happy to make another appointment for me in the week) and that they only have the lion head stamp in gold and no other stamps (may get more next year). They must have been out of the other colors because I got the lion head in silver just over two years ago. Also, this was my second time ever being at this store on a weekend and both times people got upset in line because I just got to go in (you can make an appointment online). I would avoid going to the store on weekends. Usually they are not that busy M-T, but I just make an appointment anyway just in case they are randomly busy.

I recall there being a specific thread last year about finding the store with the Rome heat stamp...I will be searching for that, but also wanted to ask if anyone knows which store in Milan has the Duomo stamp and if any of the stores in Florence have a unique one? I will be in Italy in early April and have several luggage tags ready for their unique heat stamps!

Anyone know what kind of special stamps may be available in Tokyo? I’ve heard the Sakura stamp travels around to various locations in the spring time but wondered what other stamps might be found in Tokyo too. I’ll be there in April so I’m trying to plan ahead. I’d love if they had a Godzilla one

I shopped at Milan Bagutta store in October 2024, and was told no special stamp was available.

Update: I was able to get the Duomo stamp on a luggage tag. - I have to go to Via Bagutta location to get the stamp

SECOND UPDATE:

Success!! The trick is to go to the Via Tritone location.

And I guess the moral of the story is the “main” locations don’t seem to have the city stamps. At least in Rome and Milan. I may go for an FCO stamp if I have time at the airport.
Okay I was able to track down the thread I was thinking of, thanks to @MooMooVT for all this great info!

Ugh, and just as I added this to my list to visit for the Duomo stamp based on MooMooVT's experiences above, their stamps were from earlier than 10/2024, so now I don't know what to think. The Galleria Vittorio store had told MooMooVT that they didn't have it when they went, but I see in the photos on their google page they have the heat stamp machine out on the retail floor so you can watch your stamp be placed - that is how the one on Michigan Ave in Chicago is and where the unique Chicago stamp is....maybe they move it around? I just know my partner is willing to go to a store in each location with me for a stamp, but he'll be mad if we're wasting precious vacation time running around to multiple stores. I will also probably have some time to kill in FCO in Rome on our way back home, so I will probably try and seek out that stamp as well.

I still can't find any info on if any of the locations in Florence have a unique stamp?

When I was at Galleria Vittorio store couple years ago, they didn’t have the duomo stamp (even though the store was right next to duomo. Go figure!). They do have luggage pyramid stamp which you can also find in Paris. I believe the duomo stamp is at the Rinascente store. Florence does have a special stamp. There is only one store in Florence so you don’t have to run around to find the stamp. Have fun!

There are two Ginza stores. Both have special stamp. One is men and women hat. The other is a Vivienne Kabuki. There is also Hachiko dog stamp. I think that one may be at Omotesando. Not sure. There is a paper airplane one at Haneda Airport. There is a Vivienne in flight attendant outfit at Narita Airport. There may be other ones. Please report back. Do note that you have to buy in store in order for them to stamp your luggage tag. Some stores may require you to buy a leather goods that comes with a luggage tag in order for you to get that stamp. Japan is very strict on this so be prepared to buy if you want Japanese stamps.
