It looks so so so beautiful [emoji7] congratulations to your purchase. I love the multi colour contrast with white & black. But I got concerns for the keeping of white colour leather, can it keep this white after years? Or it will got yellow fringe on it?

Still I love your choice!!

Please girls, tell me how your bags are holding up! I can't get the gabrielle out of my head but am so concerned about the base. There are so many different reviews on it and the ones on the preloved market are either almost new or look very roughly handled. I have a toddler and can't always baby my bag. I love the look but if it looks old and dingy and all scratched up in a couple of years I should stay away from it . Then I might rather go with the jumbo in caviar and shw, but I am afraid I will never wear it bc it looks so dressy and doesn't suit my style very much. Advice please!

the base can get scratched. i have d small and i have indentation mark and small scratches . my son chews on the leather strap but that doesnt get any marks. i still bought d gabby knowing all these can happen. i have d medium.also and i havent used it yet.

Not sure about yellow tinge yet since she's still fairly new. However I do have a couple scuffs from my keys hanging down when i use that key chain and forget to throw it back into the bag right away, also little bit of colour transfer from the top black leather lining unto the top white area. These don't bother me that much because hopefully it can be wiped off... and most people wont notice it (hopefully :biggrin:)

The Gabrielle is currently my favorite bag. It’s even beating the Hermes B, K and Evelyn since it is so hands free and holds just as much (in size large). The weight of the bag can also be evenly distributed over the shoulders to allow for a more comfortable carry.

I am also really starting to appreciate cloth lined bags as opposed to leather. I couldn’t be happier with this model from Chanel. They really hit a home run for me. And to think I wasn’t crazy in love when I first saw it. I must say, this is a bag that grows on you. The bag is also no where near as delicate as I thought it would be. The hard base is pretty sturdy and the leather isn’t easy to scratch.

Hope everyone loves their gabby as much as I do. I haven’t been this thrilled with a bag since...ever.

Is the silver rainbow medium size Gabrielle’s leather the same as the aged calfskin leather of the all black & black beige Gabrielle? It looks like your medium Gabrielle doesn’t sag or lose its shape?
