Does anyone know if this bag in color black a permanent classic? I cannot find it anywhere and even called Chanel. Seems like it’s sold out everywhere and not coming back
It is a permanent color. I believe Neiman Marcus has purchased the black/black for Cruise, but I am not 100%. I think I saw it in the buy book when I was there a month ago. You might want to try the ISO thread or calling a Neiman's with Chanel to see if they can locate one for you. Good luck!
It is a great picture. Though, when I bought mine, the SA recommended to avoid dark clothes because of potential color transfer.
Luckily, I don’t wear jeans. I can't imagine avoiding half of my closet to wear the bag. I’ll comment here if I do experience color transfer and will definitely be mindful of it. I haven’t yet with my iridescent light purple bag and I wear a lot of dark clothes with it. Thanks for the advice.

Thank u for the reply. Unfortunately I’m based in Europe, my closest Chanel store is 6 hours drive. Luckily Chanel will open a store in Copenhagen soon. I look forward to get a Gabrielle bag by then. Right now I’m looking at the old patent phone holder from spring summer 2014 collection.
I love the versatility of the Gabrielle bag but is Chanel bags straps removable? I mean if I want to get a Gabrielle bag can I use the strap on for instance a boy bag when I get it? As I understood the straps is adjustable, but is it removable?

Hi,
I’m also based in Denmark (but in Jylland). Have you tried to contact Chanel stores in Germany? Hamburg might be tough because of all Danes going there but Berlin and Munich have better stock and I believe they are able to ship the bag to you if it is available.

The strap is indeed removable. I just removed mine. It is very easy to adjust and remove.
