I got it! My store only got one of this kind in the medium size and they kept it on hold for me, until I was able to pick it up yesterday. I'm so happy! I was debating getting a classic black, but I have too many black bags as it is and couldn't get myself to like the 'wrinkled leather' look. I also love the tweeds, but they don't fit into my lifestyle, so here is my very own multicolored Gabrielle. Thanks for letting me share.

You can see the "button" in GHW and SHW and the slit/hole on the leather strap? I suppose you could detach it and separate it, thus making the chain change from a loop-form into a long chain, with both the leather part at the ends. Then you could just pull the strap to release it from the metal ring where it supposed to be sat on. Do you get it? So sorry I can't provide you with the pics from my own Gabby, as I don't want to manipulate the leather part as it could leave a mark/got somewhat loose on the slit part. Hope that helps

So you are saying i can unbuckle the leather part and then the straps will be one long "string" and then i can thread the staps off the GHW ? That means i can carry it without the chain and on another day, use the chain as a body accessory with another bag? Ohh that means i can use this chain to hook on another Chanel bag! How versatile!!!

I'm now part of the Gabrielle family [emoji4]

I bought mine in London yesterday. I was dismissive of this bag during the pre-launch campaign but once I tried it on I loved it. I have since tried it on three times and yesterday decided to pull the trigger. I am so happy to have another casual day/evening bag as I tend to use my Coco Cocoon bags as work/gym/travel bags. Boy bags look great on others but I feel they are too boxy on me. Love my 2.55 bags because I can wear them cross body but this is a great addition to my collection. I
also love the silver. Random as nearly all my bags are black but I turned down the black on this occasion. I can already feel another purchase coming on....!!

Same here. I didn't like the look of the gabrielle at all when I first saw the photos. I even thought what ugly bags. My SA had to practically force me to try it while I was waiting for them to wrap up another purchase :p Once I tried it on, though, I just fell in love (my SA gleefully said "I told you so"; obviously he does know me). My medium hobo is now my favourite everyday bag. Am trying very hard to resist buying a small one...

This color is so striking! I would be interested if you receive comments EVERY time you wear it? Against black, the silver will really pop. I am curious about wearing it with summer colors--whites, etc. I think it should also look very fresh... Can you give some modeling pics?

That's what I think too. A great colour against white or pastels in the Summer and a pop of colour against black in the Winter. I'm hoping to wear the bag this weekend, so will attempt to take some pics!

Hello, what size are you looking for? I went was at the Chanel boutique in Palm Beach Gardens, at the Gardens Mall (Florida) and they had the beige and black in the SMALL on the floor. However, if you want a different size call and ask to speak with Barbara, or send me a message and I will send you her cell number. She didn't have the Gabrielle in black (MEDIUM) at the store, but she found it and it is being sent to the store for me. Shes awesome and will not stop until she finds what you are looking for.
