My souvenir from the New York meet up arrived. C'est la fete in red. It's not labeled rouge h but as you can see from the photo with my bracelet its rouge h. The best photo for color accuracy is the last one with my Chanel jacket. What does everyone think? DH and I differ on it. I like it because it doesn't have to be the star of the show and will mix well with my other clothing, Chanel jacket as a prime example. DH thinks why spend a lot of money on something that isn't the star of the show? I see his point. But I like it. Reds that work for me are difficult to find. I think I'll reach for this one a lot. I know many of us were excited for this design and then felt let down to discover it was an etching, so I'd love to hear people's honest opinions about It. I think I'm keeping mine. Special thanks to bed head for her inspiration and encouragement.

I actually think it is the star of the show. If you tend to wear blacks and greys, the red is a standout. Having said that, I also see this as a neutral (as you know, I love the colors but tend to wear the neutrals) This is both! I actually gasped when I saw your photographs. It's so beautiful and lush. Pocketbookpup, you did well. Keep.

Hello lucyfan1! I do use my Panthera shawl quite a bit, it functions almost as a neutral-ish shawl for me. It was a bit out of my comfort zone to be honest, but I am very happy that I have it! Here is the link to my post on the Spring 2016 thread with pictures, also I want to be sure we are talking about the same blue one...mine has the cream to grey background, not the all over darker blue background. I hope this helps!

It's GORGEOUS!! I have colorway 09, and I'm considering getting this one, too.

Thank you so much for the reply and the pictures. I was talking about the other shawl with the blue background, but your photos are making me re-think the whole thing. It really looks great on you!

I will check the Panthera shawl out again next time I am at the boutique. I just started buying CSGM's at the June sale in Beverly Hills. Oh my gosh... what a slippery slope! I blame this forum for even looking in that section. I bought quite a few at the sale thinking I would never pay full price for one at the store, but boy was I wrong!

For this season I bought the Dallet 07, which is my favorite shawl so far. (I am the one who recommended trying on that shawl with red lipstick, which is the only way I can wear it without looking washed out). I am still waiting to see the same shawl in grey, while also looking forward to Chasse en Inde. Since I am new to the whole cashmere thing I am still buying older designs as well as the new Fall 2016. All of the wonderful pictures here have been a huge help.... (though I doubt my husband would agree with me!)

I tried on 09 at London Heathrow because it is so ridiculously beautiful, but it did nothing for me. Even the SA looked horrified when I tried it on. I think I need more color like the blue. It is just such an amazing design I feel like I have to have one. (Sorry I know this is the Fall 2016 thread and I promise to get back to topic!!)

I'm so in love with this silk
It's a VERY serious colorway but looks beautiful and elegant and POWERFUL
With navy, black and etoupe and grey
Love the half that is finesse
This is a scarf that means business [emoji928]

Tankertoad, may I ask you the CW
I cannot locate it in the website. Also, in the all-en.hermes.com site there is one which is marked as petrol/grey/steel grey, which is what your label indicates, but it looks like this! http://media.hermes.com/media/catalog/product/import/S/S01/S011/item/flat/zoom/H003057S-07.jpg,

TIA!

It is new reissue. I just got this one from waikiki! Love the color combo! It's not that bright as shown on web site. The color blended very well when fold. Croisette7 showed a model picture pages back.

Love this kachina cw
It's on my wish list

I have never seeing this CW in person in the boutique... I am very looking forward trying this design[emoji173]️

PP, IMHO it's a keeper. It's not that easy to find a shawl that says a little something but isn't the star of the show. You can get a plume or other solid color to be sure, but it's fun to have something a bit 'more' but still subtle. Your pic with the Chanel jacket makes my case perfectly. Gorgeous. I've got the grey cws on my radar for this very reason, and I'm not even a huge fan of the design, but I quite like the 'etching' feel of it in this iteration. Just one girl's opinion.
