I think I will take it on my travels in a few weeks then make a special day - trip to my H store and ask them to send it to Paris. Even just gently moving the fabric around the other day as per the recommendations in the mending thread has made it look like it has two holes (think it's just distorted warp and weave). Apparently it takes about six weeks. I can do a bit dressmaking but I obviously don't have MrsOwen's finesse and am too terrified to try any more!! [emoji3][emoji3]

Oh, I was not aware that H provides repair services for shawls! Good to know.
The last resource would be Chantal Rammendo Invisibile, but one has to be willing to ship the shawl to Milan.

(back to topic now - sorry!)

Yes, (in the UK anyway) you have to send back via a store, H in France will take a look then report back before they proceed. I think I am just jinxed - the first time I wore my silk Panthera I got make - up on it!!!!! [emoji23][emoji23]

My souvenir from the New York meet up arrived. C'est la fete in red. It's not labeled rouge h but as you can see from the photo with my bracelet its rouge h. The best photo for color accuracy is the last one with my Chanel jacket. What does everyone think? DH and I differ on it. I like it because it doesn't have to be the star of the show and will mix well with my other clothing, Chanel jacket as a prime example. DH thinks why spend a lot of money on something that isn't the star of the show? I see his point. But I like it. Reds that work for me are difficult to find. I think I'll reach for this one a lot. I know many of us were excited for this design and then felt let down to discover it was an etching, so I'd love to hear people's honest opinions about It. I think I'm keeping mine. Special thanks to bed head for her inspiration and encouragement.

I think it's a particularly beautiful color on you. And I like the subtlety of the design. Esp when you pair it up with your Paris Rome jacket. I vote keep!!

PBP, I love this on you. I am hoping it looks equally good on me and works as my "I'm in the mood for red but I really don't like red" scarf. I think the beauty and quality are definitely there and just any old red shawl would not be the same. It works with all of your clothes and your skin tone, making YOU the star of the show. Isn't that how It should be?

I suppose it is. We forget that sometimes. I hope it works for you. Please let us know. I'm definitely going to hang on to it. [emoji8]

I think this looks fabulous. It's a subtle star...think best supporting actress Oscar winner. Just bc not the largest part in the film, doesn't mean it's not amazing! Such a rich fall red on your skin and I love it to give a little subtle pop to your chanel jacket.

Tried this on today. DH was with me and seemed pretty neutral to this scarf. Thus undecided I snapped a picture to take home and think over. When I review the photo I think it is a really nice scarf! Now giving it serious consideration....
Absolutely agree with Papertiger : just WOW.
This scarf was on my wishlist and now I've seen your picture, I'm sure I'll buy it.
