Hello ladies, I´m absolutely in love with Mulberry Bayswaters and I came across the pale pink one on ebay... Seller says it´s antique leather (darwin?) and she sent me photos - but I´m afraid it´s a bit dirty on the bottom. So I´d like to ask if I will be able to clean it, because if the leather is too delicate, I´d rather won´t buy it. Can you look at the photos, please? :-)

Thank you, zour advices will be very helpful :-)

Hi, everyone. :) I'm thinking about getting an Alexa, but I'm slightly unsure about the soft buffalo leather. Is this leather kind of smooth and thin? Kind of feels like...thick, smooth paper?

I guess I mean to ask if the Soft Buffalo was far from the feel and thickness of the Nomade leather of LV or the Balenciaga leathers? Or for those of you who know the Scaramanga leather satchels (which are made of buffalo leather), does the Soft Buffalo feel like this?

I'm looking at mulberry bags and the style I was looking at (mini alexia or small bayswater) in the colors I want both say "natural leather" it looks pebbled in the pictures for both styles but what kind of leather is it?

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a decision. I am wanting to buy a Mulberry bayswater and didn't know what color leather to go with. I love the oak and the chocolate in the natural leathers. I love the way the oak looks as it ages but I am worried about ruining it because it is so light. I was thinking of getting the chocolate because it is darker. I love the vintage looking leathers so which color should I go with?
thanks for the help

If you are going to buy a new one but like them to stay looking newer and it will be used loads go for a chocolate, an oak can be protected with lots of waterproofing layers, I use collonil then this product on top but specifically because I like them to stay looking new. You mention you like the vintage look why not get a good condition used from eBay get it checked on the authenticate this thread then you could save yourself some money and be more vintagey?

Thanks for the great ideas, I am definetly going to have to give this more thought. I al
so had another question for you since you have a bayswater bag. Is the postmans lock on the bag problem when opening and closing the bag? Would this be a good everyday bag?

It's a brilliant everyday bag if you like to carry quite a few things around, my computer will even fit in it they are described as the mulberry work horse. Only fault is they are quite a heavy bag even with nothing inside if I was doing a day out I would opt for a small bayswater satchel or a mini alexa.
Take the items you normally like to carry into a mulberry shop and test them inside the bag my lighter day bits would rattle around, also have a look at the what's inside my bag thread that would help you compare the contents to your personal items.

Dear Mulberry Ladies!
This is my first post and I'm quite nervous, as I don't have much experience with bags.
All the best to all of you, I'm just overhelmed by your knowledge and dedication to Mulberry bags :) I'm wondering if you could help me with my dilemma...
I fell in love with Mulberry bags in July last year, it felt like crazy, and I know that yuou all know what I mean :) Recently I bought gorgious Mitzy Messenger in oak and a black EW Mitzy on M.com sale. I decided to send the East West back home, as I found it too big for me. And yesterday I got really very lucky: there happened to be one last standing Alexa in Oak Light Patent Leather. I have no idea how does the leather looks like., I jst know that I haven't had a peaceful night since I saw Alexa, this bag is so terrific and feminine!
Unfortunately, I'm afraid that I cannot afford both Alexa and my oak Mitzy... My question is: which one would you choose? Should I wait and save money for Alexa in Soft Buffalo and cancel my Alexa delivery? Should I send my Mitzy back? No idea, ledaies. Please help me choose! I need a bag big enough to carry all my stuff in it, and Mitzy seems to be ok. The only disdvantage is lack of zipper and I'm afraid it would be aesy to steal sth from it.
On the other hand, Alexa is great, but what about the leather? Does it look nice after a while? Is regular Alexa as big as Mitzy?
Help!

Hi!

I'm new to the forum and I'm about to purchase my first Mulberry Bayswater off NaP.com. The only thing that confuses me is that the black Bayswater on NaP is listed as "textured-leather" (http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/48172?resType=single&keywords=48172) while the one I want on M.com is listed as "natural leather" (http://www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5481/874/moreviews/). They seem the same but I just wanted to double-check if they are indeed the same product?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi!

Does anyone have any experience with the "smooth calf" leather? It says on mulberry.com to be careful around sharp surfaces, which to me means it scratches easy. That I can live with. But how about water stains? Is it as bad as oak?

Hi, I'm very new... And need help!
Which one??
Bayswater Glossy Buffalo in Fudge
OR
Bayswater Natural Leather in Chocolate

I don't know how to care for the leather and I heard the glossy leather will soon relax and worn off, is it true?

I'm not a careful person, so which one suited me?

Thanks in advance for helping me....
